Now that Chiaki and Aoi have taken the first half of their bus camping trip and arrived at the camping site at Mizugakiyama, here is the part Nadeshiko is looking for. Yes, the food, of course, with a nice trailer.
Finally, it’s the part Nadeshiko is looking forward to. It’s for the food now that Chiaki, Aoi, and Ena are waiting for Minami to prepare the cooking equipment. Of course, it’s funny how Chiaki keeps thinking about pizza. She thought about getting pizza but did not get it. Instead, she went for a curry. The funny thing that pushes her desire for pizza is the sight of a pizza oven. Sadly, they couldn’t use it since it’s under repair. Thankfully, Ena and Aoi brought out the pizza crusts
Either way, Minami finally appears, and Nadeshiko gets excited about the best “food porn” there is. Of course, it won’t be a camping trip for Minami without bringing the alcohol as she decides to get drunk. Funny how she gets upset over the girls using their wine for cooking. That said, Aki prepares a cardboard smoker to smoke nuts and cheese.
Of course, she brought her homemade sausages, which disgusted Aoi, Ena, and Nadeshiko. After all, Aki’s first attempt didn’t go so well as she left out the meat. The funny thing is that when Aki cooks them after smoking them, Ena and Aoi try them out. Ena tasted it, and it was apparently good. Aoi was surprised. Then, when Aoi ate it, she was surprised, and Chiaki was happy.
With that, it’s nice to see the dishes they made. It consists of Guilt Ridden Tomato Yakisoba, okonomiyaki, slow-cooked tomato sauce pizza, and minestrone soup. Funny how Chiaki becomes disappointed that the girls cooked okonomiyaki instead of pizza. Still, it’s surprising that you can cook pizza with a frying pan.
Also, it’s interesting that the “Guilt Ridden Tomato Yakisoba” is a creation by Nadeshiko. Nadeshiko’s family apparently makes various recipes, but Sakura makes the laziest ones. This can explain why Nadeshiko did the narration. As expected, the food looks promising that it can be food porn, as Nadeshiko puts it. Also, the segment where Minami drinks sake chilled in the freezer, acting all classy, is funny. However, the girls notice that Minami is not acting like herself, and she goes back to her usual drunk self.
After finishing dinner, Chiaki wondered where Chikuwa appeared. It appears in a window of it sleeping at home. The girls went into the panel along with Minami and disappeared. Hanpen was the only one left and even talked as Aoi and Chiaki finished talking about their camping trip. It’s embellished, thanks to Nadeshiko, but it was a fun camping trip.
With that, while the Chiaki, Aoi and Aki hope for new members so they can become a full-fledged club, Rin finally shares the details of the Hanami camping trip. Sadly, that address does not go anywhere in real life, but it should be interesting to see that camping trip. It will be pretty, and also nearby too. Nice to see a segment with Nadeshiko meeting up with Rin to take pictures of Sakura. I did this when they were in full bloom in Washington, DC, going there on three different instances to see them.
