Utatane Yasumi (or her actual name, Yumiko) is an idol Seiyuu who is not having much luck in improving her name recognition besides having one notable role. However, her actual side is different from her pure and innocent facade. They obviously don’t get along when she is forced to do a radio program with another girl who pretends to be an idol Seiyuu.
Yasumi presents herself as having a pure and innocent image. As seen with her appearance on a show involving Hanami in Sakuranami Otome’s program, Yasumi is an entirely different person than she is, despite having three years of experience and voicing Marigold in Plastic Girls. She has not had much luck until now.
While Yasumi presents herself as a pure and innocent girl, she is a Gyaru girl, which is the complete opposite of her Seiyuu self. She also has two noticeable fangs. She is also friends with Wakana, who is also a Gyaru as her. Of course, when there was a male student who was showing a picture of a Yugure Yuhi. The funny thing is that someone accidentally spilled coffee on Watanabe Chika’s shoes. Sure, Yasumi talked to her, but Chika gave a cold look, getting worked up over that Seiyuu. She is obviously a loner as Yasumi tries to defend Yuhi, but Chika gets worked up.
Of course, Yasumi gets news that she is doing a radio program with a familiar blue-haired girl. It’s Chika, or Yuhi, as she finds out herself. Obviously, they do not get along as Yasumi and Yuhi wonder why they are at this place. It seems the person leading the project put this on a whim because Yuhi and Yasumi go to the same school. Why not have them do a radio program together?
As you would expect, they are complete opposites and bicker a lot. That includes arguing over who has more industry experience and their tastes in anime. Yasumi seems to like magical girl shows, while Yuhi surprisingly likes robots and mecha anime while being bashful about it. The amount of bickering they go through, it’s apparent that they are a bit closer than they seem. However, they managed to survive three episodes.
When the writer, Asaka Mirei, suggests to Yasumi that she and Yuhi are too distant to be treated as classmates, Mirei suggests that Yasumi get to know Yuhi more. Sure, Yasumi had lunch with Yuhi, but Yuhi was cold as always, as seen eating lunch alone. That is after in a recent program they are doing a public.
Yasumi and Yuhi are in their alternate egos on the day of the live program. Of course, Mirei notices that Yuhi is nervous, and it really shows. While Yasumi says she has more experience as an idol Seiyuu, As expected, Yuhi really doesn’t like being an idol Seiyuu as she can’t sing and doesn’t show off her acting. She wants to be herself instead of someone fake and doesn’t know what to do. As expected, Yasuhi thinks Yuhi’s worries are worthless as she is supposed to be a pro. As long as Yasuhi is there, everything will be fine.
With a trip, it made it seem that Yuhi had accidentally fallen. This gives Yuhi the composure to do the program as her alter ego. The funny thing is that while Yuhi grabbed her from behind, Yasuhi thought Yuhi was emotional. However, Yuhi seems upset that Yasuhi resorted to violence for malicious purposes. That is until she thanks Yasuhi for saving her. This makes you wonder if they can pull off these charades for as long as they can or perhaps even fall in love. We’ll have to wait and see how this pair develops.

The main characters have some good (?!) chemistry, even if it's not surprising so far. I'll stick with this show for now.
Agreed, sure they bicker, at least in the beginning, but it’s only a matter of time given that they have a good amount of things in common too. I do like their chemistry.
So it’s less “bickering bitches” and more “cool gyaru x talented shy tsundere” Yuri. I dig it and am ready for more.
Agreed, I do find the girls using their alternative personalities when they are doing Seiyuu work, which makes it more interesting but it should be interesting to see how their relationship will go from here, but certainly it was interesting to se Yasumi helping Yuhi out when’ she was nervous and give her the support she needs for a successful radio program.
