Now that Yohane arrived back to her hometown begrudgingly and reconnected with Hanamaru, she has this magical staff. Sadly, it doesn’t do anything as she realizes she needs to make money to return to the city. Sadly, things don’t go to plan as she didn’t make any on her first day.
Despite having a magical staff, Yohane can’t use magic no matter how hard she tries. She decides to pack her belongings and return to the city. Funny how Lailaps mentions that Yohane has no money to go back, meaning she is stuck in the town she doesn’t want to be in.
With that, she whips out the fortune-telling crystal ball and the headdress. That is after putting flyers around town. The funny thing is that she had like no customers in the morning. Basically, Lailaps was resting while Yohane had no customers. In the afternoon, Yohane gave a grand greeting, but it was to a bunch of children wanting their fortune told to find their balls. Yohane knew they couldn’t pay, so she told them to leave. Things aren’t made better when the children mock them. Either way, it was a failure.
Eventually, Hanamaru came by, and Yohane thought she was a customer. Yohane eventually closed the shop as Lailaps laughed at her. Hanamaru wanted to show Yohane around town, and Lailaps didn’t tag along. Hanamaaru took Yohane to the place Chika works, which is an in that her parents run. Of course, they are efficient at doing their jobs after Yohane accidentally spilled her drink. Apparently, Chika likes her job. However, Yohane doesn’t think she can interact with people with a smile.
Next, Hanamaru takes Yohane to the town hall. Not too surprising to see Dia work as the Chief of Staff. After all, it’s a certain blogger’s favorite girl/idol from Aqours. Of course, Dia seems busy with work surrounding town, and Yohane doesn’t think this will be a good fit. She doesn’t like being surrounded by people answering questions. We take a glimpse of Ruby, which is actually Dias’s fairy. Make sense why she is there since Ruby is Dia’s little sister.
Of course, Yohane still desires a dynamic and exciting life as she sulks in bed. I find it funny how Lailaps becomes snarky towards Yohane, eventually telling her to shut up. Is Yohane a tsundere now? Still, it’s surprising she doesn’t want to leave the small town as something doesn’t feel right.
Of course, Riko was at the door and wanted to ask questions about Yohane. Instead, she told a fortune Riko. Sadly, she finished her fortune-telling correctly, although it looked cool. She gets mostly everything wrong about Riko as she came two days ago to investigate. Also, it’s funny how Riko asked if it would not rain today. It rained, meaning Yohane was incorrect.
Riko eventually notices Lailaps and wants to buy Lailaps as she is a rare species. The funny thing is that Yohane considered it. She thought about how much money she could have to return to the city. After all, if she had the money, she could finally leave this down. After looking at Lailaps, she couldn’t bring herself to sell her family member. Instead, she does what looks like chores, which feel more like quests in a Japanese role-playing game. Of course, she feels a sense of accomplishment that she wants to buy sweets from Hanamaru instead of saving that money to move away. She is finally warming up to this town she didn’t like.
While it’s nice to see most of the crew, except for You, Kanan, and Mari. Of course, Yohane ends up in a forest, and Lailaps can’t get to her in time as she arrives there. Now, the shadows capture her, and rogue animals are about to attack her. This is the phenomenon that Riko is apparently researching. A trio of girls showed up, calling themselves Million Dollar, to save her. I wonder, what are they about? We will find out next time.

Yohane The Parhelion Episode 2: Magical Roll Call – The Yuri Empire
This looks very similar to Kuma Kuma Kuma aesthetically, also there’s a funny wolf. I’m going to watch this, thanks.
Yes, given the colorfulness and fantasy setting, but it should be a fun watch.
