When Koma and Koito came to the shrine’s backroom, they saw Elda panicking over a missing figure. Who might be the culprit?
In the first half, Elda is panicking over Mobile Warrior Gongem 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Clear Version. In other words, it is a transparent version of the familiar figure she has. Judging by the names, they are just Gunplas, but they can’t say it is just because. Still, I won’t be surprised if it has to do with the leaky roof situation. After all, Koti and Elda helped organize the room and closet.
Of course, we finally see Koma’s time to shine, as she hasn’t had much screen time lately. Seeing Koma play detective with Koito and Elda was funny because she has a lot of free time. Also, Koyuzu is trying to figure out where the flour is.
But it becomes obvious who it is after Koito acts a bit strange as Koma thinks it is someone at the shrine that is usually in Elda’s room. Koma believes that it’s Koito, and she admits to it. Apparently, she accidentally stepped on it and broke it. During the mock trial where Koma dragged Ayane and Kado to be a part of the mock trial, they didn’t want to be a part of it. I guess Koma really wanted to prosecute Koito for an unfortunate accident.
As to how Koito fixed it, she simply used scotch tape, which makes it obvious she did it. Why didn’t she use glue instead? Sure, Elda can give a harsh punishment. Still, she decided to have Koito sit through a 34-episode marathon o her not-Gundam anime. Koito slept through it all, but it was still a milquetoast punishment compared to Ayane and Kado dragging Koma out.
In the second half, Koito and Elda prepare for the Yumimi festival. Basically, they have a week left, and Elda really doesn’t want to do it, especially on a boat. Basically, it’s a festival to pray for peace at sea. The head priest shoots arrows predicting the number of fish harvesting they will get next year. I find Elda recalling the time she fell into the ocean after she slipped on the boat, unable to swim. On the next, she had a tantrum. Not too surprising. Still, it’s obvious what Koito was doing making arrows in the last episode.
Apparently, Koito practiced shooting the arrow at the target. It is funny how she launched the hand near Elda’s head, which freaked Elda out. Thankfully, it’s good that Koito’s grandfather will do the arrow shooting until Koyozu tells Koito the bad news. Apparently, he got into an accident, and he sprained his wrists. Now, it’s up to Koito to do the arrow shooting. Yep, she needs to figure out how to do it before the event happens. We’ll see how she does in the festival in the last episode.
Great to see Koma sort of get the spotlight and she’s still a chick magnet. Can’t decide if she’s best girl or Isuzu. Excellent sexy gay redheads or brunettes.
Yes, Koma is nice and she is a fun character. But it’s nice to see her after having little screen time for a while.
