Since it’s the fall, Noa finally announces they are doing Phantom of the Opera for their fall performance. In the same play, Kathrina’s mother, Theresa, performed a scene with Noa. However, Shizuka starts to think, should she perform in this performance?
At last, the play for Sirius’s fall performance is finally decided, and it will be Phantom. As expected, we see the main girls deciding to audition for the role of Phantom. Of course, Shizuka might become a contender after she goes through the scripts to figure out what kind of character Phantom is. As expected, Kathrina makes it clear to Kokona that she wants a fair match. Kokona agrees.
I have to admit Shizuka’s performance was impressive, and Yae saw it. She tries to convince her to take part in the play. Yep, she has to point out that everyone can see her. While Shizuka is hesitant since she is just “Kokona’s sense,” she ultimately decides to try it. She probably didn’t try out for part because she didn’t want to take away Kokona’s chance to stardom. Then, what changed her mind now? Of course, she keeps that part a secret until the day of the audition. More on that later.
Also, Yae stands in the fifth box that Noa usually claims. We find out Yae wanted to try out her role of Phantom for the same reason she did for the Genie. She wants to challenge herself. It becomes evident that Noa picked this play to test the girls’ potential in their senses. As expected, the Yae and Noa pairing is strong as Yae wants to be Noa’s Christine if she plays the Phantom.
When Shizuka sees how Kokona performed her version of the Phantom, she starts questioning herself. Kokona thinks she should complete the classic version that Shizukka functions, but she tells her not to. After all, she won’t get the role if she doesn’t. I wonder why Shizuka thinks this way.
With that, Shizuka and Kokona saw various versions of Phantom. Of course, Kathrina’s version that she did with Yae was not just a façade, but she was really acting the real Phantom. Yae got startled. It appears that Kathrina already surpassed her. This obviously causes Kokona to worry after she talks about it to Shizuka. She is not sure if she can provide the Phantom the audience wants. That is when Shizuka intends to take her somewhere. Is it the fact Shizuka is going to audition too? We’ll find out what Shizuka wants to tell Kokona next time.
The expected Shizuka arc had come, as in her wanting to be on stage as a performer and not just as Kokona’s figuratively shadow.

It should be interesting how Shizuka will fare, but Kathrina definitely upped her game.
Not too surprising about Yae and Noa since Noa recruited her and Yae become enamored by her acting.
