Now that Eve managed to get Catherine off her back, it’s obvious what she does. Also, Aoi has an important tournament, but an unfortunate event happens. She also believes that Reiya is her father, something that Seira desperately wants to hide from her.
Not too surprisingly, Eve turns down her family’s offer of help as she really want to remain free. After all, with Eve beating the mafia, she can go back to her usual place without worrying about getting killed. Nevertheless, it’s nice to see Eve reunite with Lily and Kiein.
Of course, Ichina introduces herself, but it’s funny how Eve forgot her name, and Lily thinks Ichina is a child. Also, as expected, Lily wonders where is the Gunplas? Well, the mob kicked Eve out of Japan, and she was so busy with golfing that she didn’t get the chance to buy any.
Aside from that, Ichina worked hard to become a pro caddy as she got to work. She also shares some Japanese cuisine, okonomiyaki and the customers like it. During practice, Ichina noticed that in the tournament Aoi is participating in, she is at 4 over 89th place. Aoi is facing off against Shikishima Reika, who is last year’s champion, and she is performing poorly. It becomes obvious why.
As for why Amame said she is under hostage by someone to Ichina. Well, we find out when she gives a thumb drive containing Aoi’s golfing stats to Reika. She wants Amame as her caddy, as she will take her on. But, of course, Seira made a deal with Amame to pay for her board and schooling as long she assisted Aoi as her caddy. But it’s obvious why Seira instructed Amame to give that flash drive, so Aoi can be at her game.
Of course, when Seira instructs Amame to give the new golf clubs for Aoi to test out, Reiya obviously knows that it’s the only gift he and Seira will give their daughter. That is, until he collapsed.
This is where Aoi feels down, as she feels Reiya is probably her father. She didn’t want to leave the hospital and look after him as she was in tears. However, Eve had a hunch that Kazuhiko wasn’t her father, and Seira’s lies were backfiring on her in the worst way possible.
With that, Aoi couldn’t focus on the tournament’s first day as she made many apparent mistakes, and Seira was upset. However, Amame eventually reveals that Aoi knows about her father, which can explain her poor performance. Also, she is receiving angry phone calls from the chairman. If only Seira had told the truth.
Eventually, the next day, Aoi tried to make up for lost ground on the 10th hole. That is after Amame told her about the basic design of the clubs and Reiya working on them. When Aoi saw Reiya in the crowd in a wheelchair, it gave her strength and reassurance that he would tell her the truth. So basically, Aoi staged a comeback with her unique Shining Wings. Either way, Aoi has a lot of lost ground to make up for, but she can probably pull it off as she understands her resolve. Yes, it’s no thanks to Seira, but she will eventually get her day when Aoi finds out the truth.
Poor Ichina will only be taken seriously on the golf course. At least the mafia threat is over so we’ll get more Lily, Miss Klein and the little cuties.
Although Eve’s love isn’t the same as Aoi’s yet their desire to be together again is equally strong. Love to see it.
Aoi’s faith in Eve is so strong she took her advice in the rain scene to heart and made her own clever deductions about Coach Guy most likely being her real dad. Nice to get Amane’s backstory and Reika’s role in the story as more than a strong opponent for Aoi.
Aoi’s Shining Shot is as awesome as the Rainbow Shot. Hope to the super moves clash soon.
Yep, it seems that the casual clothing she wears and her height doesn’t make tt better, but it’s nice that Eve can focus on her golfing now. Also, seeing Lily and Kiein again, which is nice.
At least Aoi took Eve’s advice and yep, it looks like she is finding out the coach is probably her real dad all along. I wonder, why Seira hid the truth when lying is worse. Still, it should be interesting to see her comeback.
Not too surprising about Amane, but her simply saying she is held hostage was an indication of this.
