With the year of Yuri upon us, it’s time to focus on the first show of several this year. Yes, that show is Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei, and the first episode is what I expected.
At a glance, Anne-Sophia isn’t your ordinary princess. Yet, while she looked surrounded by a pack of wolves, she took out her magic broom, cleanly killed all the wolves with her weapon, and raided their hides.
As expected, Anne likes getting dirty and even comes into the castle wearing the hide of the monster she hunted. Yep, her father wasn’t happy, but he couldn’t do anything to hold back the energetic and risk-taking daughter of his. Scolding her was ineffective as she threatened him that her father would have to resign if he attacked her. That is before she made the run for it.
Of course, she gave up her right to inherit the throne to peruse Magicology. That is despite having no magical abilities. She can only do it with the help of someone who makes her supplements so she can use magic. That person is Tilty. Of course, that reminds me of Ogura Sion, but hotter.
Anne believes everything will be fine as her older brother is supposed to marry Euphyllia. But, then again, he comes off as stuck up for some reason. I just don’t like him, and it becomes obvious why later. Anne also remembered seeing Euphyllia during her childhood using magic. But, of course, she hides the fact that she remembered her.
We also learn from Ilia, Anne’s maid, all the trouble she went through to save Anne from her failed experiments. Believe it or not, a girl or woman got isekai’d and is now reincarnated as Anne. From remembering the stuff from the other world from the different world, she became interested in flying like how a witch would. Not only that, her experiments almost burn down her villa, but of course, it’s worth it for her.
As mentioned before, why I said Anne’s older brother was stuck up. Well, he has a secret affair with a commoner with Lainie. He obviously has no interest in the arranged marriage with Euphyllia, making this fact subtle. Of course, Euphyllia didn’t think much of it as she met him. He plans to go against the royal family as he walks off and sees his little sister. Sure, he is in his rebellious stage, but it will cost him dearly.
That night, Anne makes another attempt with the broom since the weather is good. Then, of course, she loses control and crashes a party. Before that, Al clarifies that he plans to break the engagement with Euphyllia before accusing her of false charges to ruin her reputation. Yes, things like Euphyllia threatening and bullying Al’s crush, Lainie. Of course, Euphyllia doesn’t recall doing these things, and everyone turns against her despite the false allegations.
Thankfully, Anne crashed the party and wondered what was going on. She finds out that her older brother is breaking the arranged marriage and threaten to spill the beans about this to her father. Either way, Anne is gutsy and decides to take Euphyllia in. You know why he is a jerk, but it’s his loss. He might ruin the royal family’s name and lose everything.
As they say, it’s his loss. It should be interesting to see how Anne’s relationship with Euphyllia will develop from here. Maybe Euphyllia will be a big help for Anne in helping her pursue Magicology. But, of course, Euphyllia would need to clear her name one way or another, which might be the best way. We’ll find out soon enough.

20-Gay-Three is off to a pretty good start. Princess Anís rules nd her future bride is lovely. Looking forward to seeing them grow closer along with the titular revolution.
Also all the important girls so far are hot.
It sure is, and I do hope to see more with Anne and Euphyllia and hopefully make their dream come true. But so far, Anne is a fun character.
This was the show I had most expectations, and its first episode delivered what promised with a good story and production. The characters introductions were great, presenting princess Anne, the maid Illya and her “partner in crime” Tilty.
And the best of all was seeing the otome game scenario being destroyed by the yuri route. A excellent premise that makes we want for more in the following episodes.
Agreed, although I expected it to do well, but the first episode exceed expectations. Still, nice to see the ladies Anne works with to make her dream become true, But yes, Titly is attractive, but interesting they show her very early on since I heard she doesn’t appear until the second or third volume. Still, it’s good that Anne ended up with Euphyllia. Al comes off a bit too stuck up and I don’t really like his character.
