Lycoris Recoil – Episode 12 – Yoshi’s True Nature, Exposed and Kurumi Saves the Day

September 17, 2022 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
They apprehended Majima just like that, but that pales in comparison to what happens next.

Now that Takina came in to save the day, can they finally apprehend Majima? Also, how will Chisato react when she sees Yoshi as Kurumi finds a way to save the DA’s butt.

As expected, the fight with Majima between Takina and Chisato seemed uneventful. They eventually managed to exploit his heightened senses and managed to apprehend him. Still, it’s surprising that Chisato didn’t kill him but let him live despite his actions. Then again, what Chisato finds out from Yoshi, you might change their mind about Majima, probably a little bit.

Yoshi’s true nature finally revealed. He sees Chisato only as a killing machine, or a doll.

Now that Majima is neutralized, Chisato decides to save Yoshi. He obviously becomes disappointed when he hears that Chisato didn’t kill Majima. It’s evident that he probably raised Majima for the purpose of Chisato killing him.

Chisato doesn’t want any part of Yoshi anymore.

When Takina comes, she shoots at Yoshi since she wants the briefcase that might contain the heart. Of course, Yoshi went that low to say he put the artificial heart inside him, so Chisato had to kill him to save her life. This is very sus given that if he received an artificial heart transplant, it would take weeks, if not months, to recover from that procedure.

Also, Majima will probably notice if Yoshi has an artificial heart or if he is just lying. Maybe that suitcase is empty, and Majima took the contents out when he took Yoshi hostage. Still, this shows how far he will go to uphold his belief.

The rage inside Takina as the heart escapes and she slips into despair was melodramatic, but also a great showing of feelings. Hopefully there is a miracle despite what happened.

What is surprising is that Takina was willing to do Chisato’s work of killing him. Yes, she seems desperate to save her beloved life. But, sadly, it appears that even after shooting Yoshi with an actual bullet, she doesn’t want the heart Yoshi has. After all, she doesn’t want to submit to his ideals of becoming a killer.

Either way, Yoshi is a lot eviler than Majima. Majima seems to only want anarchy and ensure chaos. Also, he made it clear that he doesn’t like Yoshi and the Allan Institute. Still, the way Takina acted shows a lot of desperation. Still, I think it’s over the-top how Takina sees Yoshi as the heart as he escapes with his assistant.

So, is it over for Chisato? Given how much the story surprised us with Yoshi putting the artificial heart inside himself, I think anything can happen. Kurumi, last time, investigated the artificial heart and probably has information and knows who made it. So, the solution is simple, make another.

Given that Chisato is the DA’s MVP and Kurumi has the information, can they just bribe the same manufacturer to make another heart or possibly repair the existing one? Either way, this is a big question mark whether Chisato’s life can be saved at this point or not. I bet Takina would become heartbroken if Chisato passed away.

Now, the operation ships to saving the DA.
Kusunoki does the same exact pose Chisato did several episodes ago.
I stand corrected.

This leaves the rumored LilyBells, the male counterpart, to eliminate the DA. Yep, Kurumi and Mizuki pick them up while having a USB flash drive prepared. Indeed, it was a struggle to get into the new radio tower and barricade themselves. Also, seeing Chisato and Fuki fighting over where the USB port on the computer was hilarious. God forbid if the port on the system was USB-C and not USB-A. They will be screwed.

Seeing Chisato and Fuki fight over where the USB port is was hilarious. At least it wasn’t USB-C.

Either way, Robota finally got exposed as Kurumi’s malicious code defeats him. At least Radiata is now up again, and Kurumi played some coverup video making it appear that the radio tower will create a new attraction. It goes to show that the DA should go and hire Kurumi to protect their systems.

Like how Chisato taunts the LilyBells.

With that, the LilyBells held back and retreated. It looks like Kurumi saved Kusunoki’s butt. This is an excellent time for them to rebrand themselves as they scrub the internet. One of the elites from the LilyBells appears annoyed at Chisato.

Majima is still alive, but acting chill this time.

Chisato saw her bag and went to get it on the way back. Of course, someone started shooting as they shielded themselves as the elevator door closed. It’s Majima again, and he acts chill. Again, he is up to no good, but it should be interesting to see what happens in that exchange. Also, what is the fate of Chisato? We’ll see it in the finale.

Very strong stuff this episode from our heroines. Despite Takina showing us how far she’d go to save Chisato let us not forget Chisato shot Yoshi in desperation to protect even if it meant sacrificing her sanity.

The second was a lot of fun with some nice developments.

Hopefully our heroines end the show happy together with no one sacrificed.

Takina obviously wants to save Chisato, which it’s easy to see why there are signs of desperation, as in actually willing to kill Yoshi and even ripping the heart. Should of made a Moral Kombat reference there.

But still hoping a good ending in the end, as nobody knows how the ending will go, yet.
