If you can’t tell from the very end of the last episode, it seems that Setsuna is about to tell her secret. The secret that Nana and Setsuna are both a Student Council President and a School Idol.
As the joint event coming up, the Film Studies Club want to do a feature on the School Idol Club. Most importantly, they want the goods, finding out who is Setsuna. Is it really Nana? Shioriko seems to have some suspicions that Nana might be Setsuna, but she can’t know for sure. Of course, Setsuna isn’t going to make it known just yet.
As repected, during the recording, Setsuna seems reluctant to participate. It becomes obvious when Nana decides to walk out of a meeting, Shioriko becomes suspicious of her.
Sadly, her suspicions become correct when she walks passes the School Idol Club. Setsuna accidentally spills the beans unintentionally as she likes the idea and intrigue of being a secret idol instead of making it publicly known. You know, like Ren, Dia, and Eli. Also, Setsuna is not sure if her parents will accept this fact. Shiori entered the room and saw Setsuna/Nana with those glasses. It looks like her secret is out. Despite Setsuna/Nana denying it, Shiori promises to keep it a secret given her reputation.
However, Setsuna faces a tough situation that can jeopardize the joint festival. There is not enough capacity given that some units are popular. Therefore, some may not get the chance to perform. This is because they have a hard time finding a place to rent out to hold the festival. Yep, Lanzhu seems upset over the threat of the joint event getting cancelled.
Facing the prospect, Setsuna/Nana blames herself for this even though it’s not her fault. Eventually, she feels a bit down as Ayumu, Shizuku and the rest of the members reassures her that they have her back. They remind her that there are others that might help make it happen some way or another. She did just that by calling the reps of all the school idols to find a solution.
After long hours, they did by spreading the load out. Thankfully, another idol group from Shion Girls’ Academy helped make it happen. Of course, it wouldn’t be possible without Lanzhu. At least in this case she has a change of heart instead of bashing the School Idol Club and chastising Yuu for not becoming a school idol herself.
In the end, everything worked out in the end. As expected, Setsuna finally used the video for the big reveal that Nana is in fact Setsuna all along. Of course, she had to talk with her parents to see if they are okay with her being a school idol. Eventually, Setsuna with Shizuka and Ayumu perform on stage as a unit called AZUNA.
Either way, I guess Shizuka’s days of pretending to be Nana is over. At last, she finally joins Ren, Dia, and Eli who are Student Council Presidents that are also School Idols. The question remains, will Shioriko finally realize her dreams of becoming one? That is after her older sister asks her little sister if she will join in. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
