After Shamiko recovers from becoming brainwashed by Lico’s food, she and her friends continue to search clues about Momo’s older sister. Of course, the answer may lie in Shamiko herself.

As expected, we learn more about how Momo made the vessels that she made for Lilith for the operation last time. Yes, she used the clay that Shion provided with the same cute design. Of course, I find it funny how Momo can control Lilith’s vessel by forcing her to praise her and such. I find this quite hilarious as Momo can use this to blackmail her, besides those smartphone recordings.

As expected, Shirosawa and Lico, this time wearing a Qipao, shows up at Shamiko’s apartment. Yep, Momo seems very suspicious of them thanks to Lico’s brainwashing cooking. I find it funny how Shirosawa throws himself off the ledge when Momo tried to stop him. He ends up injuring himself further for no reason.

From the looks of it, it’s obvious that he wants to meet Shamiko to apologize to her family. Momo makes it obvious that she is looking for her older sister. Ryoko of course is doing her own research. I find it funny how she wants to present her findings in a PowerPoint presentation. Ryoko really wants to use her new tech toys. Yep, the digital camera was the gateway drug.

Either way, we find out that Shirosawa made the Miss Tama Sakura mascot. Also, he saw Sakura 10 years ago as she helped him open the café and brought Lico on as a worker. As expected, her she carries her belongings in a stereotypical runaway bag. It’s obvious that Lico had a rough past that she hasn’t revealed yet.

Not only that, Shirosawa revealed that the mascot he made is based off a white cat with a familiar ribbon that he saw on December 28th. That was when he was in the shopping center Maruma late in the evening shopping for supplies. Apparently, it went through a hospital wall. That cat might be Sakura’s core or familiar, just like Metako. Yes, this was the same time when Shamiko was in the hospital.

Of course, Shirosawa wants Shamiko to work part-time at his restaurant. Yes, she wants to do it with the hope to get more information. Obviously, Momo is against it not because of just what happened last time, but the sense of jealousy. He tried to change her mind by offering a gift featuring Miss Tama. Momo shows disinterest while Shamiko knows that she loves her.

Eventually, Momo gives in despite being obsessed with Miss Tama. The thing that causes her to change her mind is Shirosawa offering a personally autographed phone card. That also includes a ticket to take a picture with the real deal. It’s quite easy how Momo changes her mind after hearing that. Also, it’s obvious that Momo loves Miss Tama Sakura is because it resembles her older sister. But how can that be since Shirosawa never saw Sakura.
As expected, Shamiko while in a hospital for a serious illness saw a white cat. She talked to it, and it eventually went away. Seiko eventually revealed what Shamiko said about the cat 10 years ago that she couldn’t find. That is while she was pregnant with Ryoko. Everything starts to line up, except for Shamiko as she doesn’t have much of a recollection of it.

With that comes Shamiko’s special ability to enter people’s dreams and see or manipulate their memories. She did so when she entered Momo’s dream while she was sick. Lilith mentions that Shamiko has the power to do this to any living being, including insects. I find it funny how Shamiko seems interested in entering insects’ minds and making an army than finding her own memories. As expected, Momo had to bribe Lilith to get this information.

Eventually, she entered her own state of mind as she took a rest. She was in a hospital and somehow, she needs to find her memories with Lilith guiding her. Yep, there are obstacles that contained unpleasant memories. In this case, they are the IV drip machines and syringes.

As expected, Shamiko transforms and does stealth by hiding in a box. Yep, she is becoming like Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. Sadly, her tail is a hindrance as the syringes and IV machines detected and chased after her. I guess she really needs to improve her stealth and box hiding skills before she can become like Snake.

Either way, Shamiko hears a familiar voice to use the wand that transforms into anything. She transforms it to her weapon, which is a big fork. It was enough to defeat the unpleasant objects. Eventually, a pink light appeared front of her. After Shamiko focused, that pink light transformed into a magical girl that looks familiar. Yes, it’s Momo’s older sister, Chiyoda Sakura.

With that, I wonder what we can learn from Sakura and why she is in her memories. Either way, it appears that Momo is getting a bit worried about Shamiko from the preview. It appears that she will try to enter Shamiko’s dream in her new magical girl outfit. Yep, she has fallen to the dark side. Either way, it’s obvious that we will learn more about Sakura’s significance with Shamiko. This might explain why Shamiko’s father sealed himself in that box.
Cool reveals this episode capped off by the HUGE reveal of Chiyoda Sakura. So good.
Will Momo go as far as I think she will to rescue her beloved succubus?
The big reveal of Sakura was certainly interesting, especially after the big chase and Shamiko finally using the weapon. For sure, we’ll learn more about Sakura and what happened at the hospital next time.
I won’t be surprised if Momo actually goes in to save her beloved. But it will be nice to see her fallen form next time.
