When one ends up in another world, they expect to receive special powers and go on an adventure of some sorts. Of course, a young male student finds out that going to another world might probably not the best thing after all. Probably worse than getting hit by a truck, a usual cliche of isekai genre stories.
Mutou Mitsuki is an average teenaged boy finds himself who becomes excited when he finds himself in another world. Yep, it’s obvious that he doesn’t seem well liked by anyone in the world he came from. Shortly after, guards throw him out because the people that summoned him didn’t see a desirable ability within him. Apparently, they summoned another person after him.
You might be wondering, is Mitsuki the main character like in most Isekai genre shows. Nope, he isn’t, and he is basically expendable and for a good reason we’ll find out soon. The main lead is a pure, just, and strong priestess named Menou. She takes in lost ones like him, which end up as a commoner class. I like how she is not willing to help him out, monetarily for obvious reasons. More on that later.
As expected, the ones who are summoning people outside their world is the Noblesse, which is considered a taboo practice. I wonder, what is their purpose of them summoning people? We’ll find out eventually.
Of course, the highest class is the Faust, who are basically people who work for the Church. They look after the Noblesse, especially since they are summoning people. As we find out, Menou tricks Mitsuki by bringing him to a rundown church. Before that happened, Mitsuki mentioned that he saw a girl get summoned before he got thrown out. Menou notifies Momo, who is her assistant about the girl.
As expected, when Menou brought Mitsuki to the church, she has him reveal his powers. His powers allow him to make things disappear. Of course, having powers that dangerous is not good, so she assassinated him. Yep, it’s not the best way to end up in the fantasy world just to end up dead. Even if Menou spared him, he is a potential disaster waiting to happen.
You might be wondering, why Menou assassinates Lost Ones? Apparently, they bring misfortune as they can’t control their powers and wreak havoc as seen in the flashback with the second coming of White. Menou is one of the survivors that Flare takes in. Apparently, she trained her to become prestress and her successor.
Yep, there is Momo, Menou’s partner who is attached to her. Not only that, but she also came up with a perfect disguise for Menou as a royal maid. As expected, she seems to like how she looked in the maid’s outfit. Yep, so much that she recorded an image of her in the scripture and she denies it. It’s obvious how much Momo likes Menou. Also, Momo seems to have an obsession over Menou’s thighs that she touches it.
Of course, a bunch of Noblesse is after them since they didn’t like Menou taking one out. Yep, she basically curbs stomped them. Not too surprising since Menou is trained by Flare and she is her successor. As expected, Momo took out the reinforcements.
Eventually, Menou finds the second lost one, which look familiar to the one in her dream. This makes me wonder, what role she will play? It’s obvious that the Noblesse kept her captive for some reason since she had a certain power. We’ll find out soon enough.
Already shows promise to be a pretty good yuri action show.
Nice to see an anti-isekai trope setup. Het harem boy axed right off the bat.
Very interested in the Monoe and Lost Girl dynamic.
Momo is love.
Agreed. It’s good that this show finally subverts the generic isekai show with an overpowered male lead. Should be interesting to learn more about the world.
Yes, Momo is so good.
Pls is Mitsuki dead or not.
No, he is really dead as he is not the main character and to show what kind of job Menou does. The execution kind of makes it obvious.
