Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku – Episode 11 – Unforgettable Memories in Volleyball Training Camp

March 19, 2022 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Something obviously catches Erika’s eyes. I wonder what it is?

With the sports festival almost here, it seems that Komichi’s class’s volleyball team is doing badly in practice. They need a special practice session to win. Of course, Komichi knows the place to practice that she holds close to her heart.

From the look of the practice session that Komichi’s team is participating, Komichi and Touko are bad at volleyball. Before that, it seems that their teacher is late. Of course. Tomono asks about Komichi doing a dance in the after party for the drama club. This gets Erika a bit interested. More on that later as she goes to the auditorium and sees a piano.

Erika practicing her fingering skills for the piano.

After she finished clipping her nails during the evening, she decides to practice her finger movements. She soon imagining Komichi dancing for some reason. Of course, she doesn’t think much of it until she had dinner with Touko. Yep, she mentioned about the time she found Erika playing the piano in the music room and knows about the piano in her room. She thinks that Erika playing a song while Komichi dance is something that everyone might love.

While she looks angry, she isn’t.

From this suggestion, Touko looked angry, which causes Touko to have a misunderstanding. She is just surprised since it relates to Komichi, which she wants to get closer to. This becomes apparent that she wants to do it as she takes up on the offer for snacks that Touko offered.

Touko and Komichi is really bad at volleyball.

During volleyball practice, Komichi and Touko have a hard time hitting the ball and slamming into each other. There is no way they going to win at this rate. Touko suggests a training camp and Koumichi needs to find a place to hold the practice at. She probably knows as she calls her old elementary school teacher to use her old school’s gym that is currently underutilized.

Komichi becomes emotional as she realizes she achieved her dreams.

Of course, Komichi’s old teacher is glad to have her use the gym as she shares her happiness. Yes, over Komichi being able to make friends. I can see why since Komichi was the only student in her grade. I can imagine how lonely it could get for her. Considering that the school will close after Kao graduates, I guess this is the best time for Komichi to cheer her old teacher up by showing the friends she made while creating unforgettable memories. Most importantly, she wants to show that one of her dreams became a reality.

I expected this reaction when they saw Kao.

While some couldn’t make it, Komichi’s team mates somehow made it, namely Riona and Riri besides Touko and herself. Kao of course tags along. Somehow, Hitomi and Yasuko showed up. Yep, they planned to tag along with that permission form. Somehow, they received approval, which is not too surprising.

Riri goes a bit too overboard.

Of course, after meeting Komichi’s old teacher, they went to the gym and started practicing. There are some lovely moments when Riri takes off her shirt during break and tries to flirt with Riona of course. Yep, it shows that she needs to have some self-restraint. Still, this is a funny moment to look at and Kao went to take off Riri’s shorts as punishment.

Komichi is happy that Touko is able to bring almost everyone in her class to practice.

We do find out the reason why Komichi picked the place. Besides the school closing as mentioned earlier, she wanted to create a memory that she can remember at the school she went to with her friends. Of course, Touko did her magic and manages to invite almost everyone in Komichi’s class.

We can see why Erika isn’t there. She is preparing something special. We’ll see the results next time.

As expected, Erika didn’t attend since she is busy practicing a piece on the piano. It’s obvious that she is doing it for Komichi since she probably has some feelings for her that we don’t know about. Either way, it should be interesting to see the result in the last episode.

Erika is about to become a legend if the season finale ends on a high note. She’s so good!

Hitomi secretly loving cute things such as Kao was precious.

Komichi emits a badass and “must protecc” aura at the same time. Bless her.

Agreed. I am liking how the development between Erika and Komichi is going. I guess there is the manga and hopefully it will see a localization.

Not too surprising since Kao is adorable.
