Now that Komichi decided on what club to join, Kei decides to create a pamphlet for the photography club. Obviously, she wants to use Komichi as a model.
As expected, when Kei rode on the bus to school, Komichi ran and tried to wave to her. Of course, she eventually points this out later in the episode. More on that later.
After school, Kei asks if she can use Komichi as a model for the pamphlet. Komichi was about to take out those pictures Kei sent her from last time before she stopped her. Of course, Komichi was the girl that came in mind for Kei and the theme is friends. Komichi comes to the realization that Kei is her friend.
After running into Kei, Komichi met with the drama club president. Yep, the club president just recorded Komichi exercising and that’s all. She met up with Kei as she takes various pictures of other girls participating in club activities.
They eventually head to the tea ceremony building as Kei decides to take pictures of Komichi there. Of course, while Kei manages to get some good shots, it’s not the shots that fits the image Kei has in mind. The funny thing is that Komachi thinks that imitating Miki’s expressions might do this, but not really.
While they head somewhere, Touko warned Komichi as a ball went flying. Thankfully, Komichi is safe, but mud got on her uniform. Thankfully, Touko offered Komichi to use the washing machines at the dorms. After all, she is almost done with baseball practice. On the way there, Kei revealed to Touko that she is using Komichi as a model but can’t get the image she envisioned so far.
When they got to the dorm, the lady there apparently knows Komichi’s mother. Yes, she used to work as a teacher. Yes, she went about how her mother broke the rules, but students and teachers still love her. Is Komichi the same way? We’ll don’t know for sure. Too bad Erika can’t meet Komichi when she was there as she was on duty.
As Komichi takes off her shoes, she saw holes in her socks, which is embarrassing. Thankfully, Touko and Kei didn’t see it as Touko takes them to her dorm room. Her roommate, Kamimoku Neko was sleeping. Touko have Komichi try on the dress that she saw in the magazine. Of course, Kei closed her eyes while Komichi changed. Of course, she looks just as good as the model in the magazine.
After washing the clothes, Touko decides to cook some sweets. Yep, it’s obvious that she knows how to bake since her family runs a bakery. However, she didn’t get into making sweets. It’s not until her gig of breaking the ice with the rabbit ears flopped. Still, it’s not too surprising since mostly everyone likes sweets. Even so, I must admit the rabbit ears thing was cute and funny.
Yep, Komichi became interested that she tried to make a crêpe. She failed epically despite Touko trying to help her. It shows that she is only human. That is before she burped after eating all the sweets, which wakes up Neko. I find it funny how she was wearing rabbit ears.
Thankfully, the mud came out, but Komichi is missing something. That is until she wore the stocks with holes. This is really the shot that Kei is looking for and thinks Komichi is clumsy. No matter how talented and outgoing Komichi is, she still has her own quirks. I guess if she doesn’t want holes in her socks, maybe she shouldn’t run too much, or at least learn how to sew them back.
Nice to see Touko get some time to shine. She doesn’t have to be intimidated by Komichi’s aura anymore. She isn’t perfect after all. Still a wonderful beauty.
Poor Erika missed out. Hopefully she’ll be treated to something equally magical next time she sees Komichi.
Yes, it’s nice to learn more about Touko, especially since her introduction a few episodes back. It’s obvious that Komichi isn’t perfect at everything, but I guess that makes her special despite her flaws and good looks. It’s just too bad Erika couldn’t join in as you mention, but I hope she will get some focus soon.
