Hiyori enjoys the day fishing. Once she finally decides to go home, she meets a girl that decides to take her clothes off, revealing a swimsuit. It’s obvious where this is heading.
As expected, it seems that Hiori enjoys fishing as she learned it from her father. That is until he passed away from a “popular disease.” I wonder what disease it is. Still, it’s obvious that she looked up to her father for his unique qualities.
Of course, a blonde hair girl named Koharu around her age out of nowhere decides to strip to her school swimsuit to dive into the ocean. Yep, it’s a bad idea given how cold the water is. Thankfully, with Hiori’s creative thinking, she stopped her with her fishing line. Yep, it led to that moment as Hiori stares into Koharu’s eyes. Is it a faithful encounter? Perhaps since Hiori’s face started blushing red.
After Koharu put back on her clothes, she drinks a warm drink, she reveals that she will be moving on the city she is in. Of course, Hiori finds Koharu unique. Not to mention, Hiori mentions that her mother is planning to remarry tonight. Of course, Koharu mentions the same thing with her father. That is when they are about to go home. It’s obvious where this is going.
Before that happened, Hiori shows Koharu how she fishes. Apparently, Koharu never fished in her life, besides in a video game. I wondered if she learned how to fish from Sega Bass Fishing.
Either way, Hiori hands her a net and she catch a fish, which Koharu netted. Hiori also makes one of the rockfish into sashimi. Yep, apparently, she knows how to do it thanks to her father, which amazes Koharu. Apparently, Koharu seems to enjoy it and apparently, she reveals that she usually does the cooking.
Believe it or not, Koharu’s father is marrying Hiori’s mother. Yep, Hiori had a faithful encounter with Koharu. Not to mention, she might have some attraction towards her, which is okay since they aren’t blood related. It’s starting to feel like a certain famous yuri manga that involves a certain type of fruit.
In the second half, Koharu and her father moves in. Apparently, Hiori investigates the room that her father had his office in before he passed away. She eventually finds out that Koharu moved into after they tried on school uniforms. Yep, Koharu seems to like her ribbon, although she supposed to wear the necktie for the opening ceremony. Of course, Koharu unpacks some things and wonders if Hiori’s father left it behind.
Hiori went out for a bit to visit her friends. Apparently, she was at the pier not sure what she should do right now. At least the ocean never changes until Koharu mentions this as she brings the fishing supplies. The funny thing is that she brings the futon racker. Still, it’s obvious that she wants to fish. Hiori teaches Koharu how to cast the line. It’s obvious that Hiori enjoys seeing her enjoying it despite being a beginner. Even so, it’s not an ideal time thanks to the wind.
As they return home, Koharu finally introduces herself to Hiori. Yep, Koharu is older by two months although she is cheerful compared to the more reserved Hiori. Not only that, but she also has Hiori say her name. As expected, Hiori blushes when she says it. Yep, I have a feeling where their relationship will go from here.
Either way, Hiori is motivated to teach her how to fish, but first she needs to survive her first day of high school. I guess we’ll see how it goes next time.
The Fishing Citrus hype is real after this premiere. Hope we get more of it along with a beach episode sans school swimsuit.
Yep, it’s surprising that Hiori and Koharu has a leg up already. Hopefully there will be an actual beach episode later on.
