The big day is almost here after Mami returns home and Manaka and her friends practice for the last day. Also, what Eri’s phone call with Yu was all about?
Out of nowhere, Eri called Yu for some reason. Apparently, she wanted to ask something, but she couldn’t bring herself to tell Yu. The only thing she can say that she won’t lose this time. Yep, Eri is basically hiding something from Yu, but will she tell her when the match happens?
With that, the girls went to practice. Of course, Yoko is fired up as her dream is about to become a reality. Yep, she really mentioned that the girls will do “that,” which is the victory dances. Yoko really wants to make this a reality although the girls are hesitant about this. They are going to do it either way as they aren’t going to lose. Either way, Yoko seems to be very confident as she talks to the coach for Snow White. It’s obvious that Snow White’s coach is nervous as she puts everyone on Maya.
As for practice, it seems that everything is going well. While Kaoru takes a break, Yu shares how much she changed since she joins Dream Monkeys and teamwork is important. Of course, she wants to face off Snow White to show how much she changed since she left. Of course, Kaoru feels the same as Yu made them realized how much fun to train and win a game. Either way, the girls feel confident with their skills.
Meanwhile, it seems that Eri is hesitating in her practice and her coach notices. It’s because she is unable to say what she wanted to say during the phone call. Thankfully, on the day of the match, her team arrives. Eri meets with Yu as she did stretches. Yu wants everyone to do their best, but this time she wants to show who she became. That is after Eri said that she wants to steal the puck from her. Given how much hesitation from Eri, it’s obvious that her team will rely heavily on Maya than relying on her own skill.
As expected, Manaka and her friends are obviously disappointed that Yu was at the arena first. Not too surprising given how serious she is in preparing for the match.
As for the match, it starts off rough. Sure, the girls may feel relieved that Maya missed the goal the first time. However, she managed to score since Kaoruko became scared by her intimidating power. Sure, Maya is a formidable rival, but they can’t let their guard down. Somehow, they need to exploit the weakness of the other team members who are relying heavily on Maya, their ace. Will the girls on Dream Monkey pull a win? We must wait and see next time.
Excited for the rest of the finals.
Me too, hopefully the end result will be good.
