Now that Kuroe and Yachiyo found Iroha where the Rumor is, Iroha’s droppel, Giovanna is controlling her. In short, it entraps Yachiyo and Kuroe in a strange dream that is not reality.
Yep, Iroha’s droppel entrapped Kuroe and Yachiyo into her ideal world. Yep, the ideal world where everyone gets along at the Mikazuki Villa. Yachiyo wakes up and she sees Tsuruno, Felicia, and Sana wake her up from bed. She runs and checks on Iroha. She is doing well, but Yachiyo notices something strange about her. More on that later.
I find Iroha’s take of her reality kind of interesting. It kind of feels like the dream that Homura had from the Rebellionmovie. Also, it’s a nice touch to have the witch fight. After they defeat the witch, they get showered with colorful grief seeds after the witch’s defeat.
Something like this happens in the Rebellion movie. This is like that, except Iroha created her own idea reality that everyone gets along. The funny thing is that Tsuruno, Felicia, and Sana knows Kuroe when she hasn’t met them before. I find that strange, but not as strange when Iroha takes Yachiyo and Kuroe to the hospital.
During the hospital visit, Yachiyo explains that Touka and Nemu were Iroha’s little sister’s friend. Apparently, we see a glimpse that Iroha’s friends, Touka and Nemu creating the rumors, which will become important later. After all, Ui might have something to do with this.
Of course, when Yachiyo and Kuroe saw Ui, which is a stuffed animal. Yep, Iroha represented in her dream has completely lost her mind. It’s obvious that her droppel, Giovanna created this ideal world with Ui being a stuffed animal as a coping mechanism. That way, Iroha won’t have to deal with the harsh reality of being magical girls or find her little sister.
Eventually, Yachiyo finds a doorway to the center of Iroha’s dream. Of course, Yachiyo doesn’t trust Kuroe since she is part of the Magius. The funny thing is that she ends up connecting with her while fight Giovanna. Of course, the thing that ends up shattering Iroha’s dream is destroying the Ui stuffed animal.
In the end, it’s good that Kuroe and Yachiyo manages to defeat Iroha. Yep, it was the plan all along to bring Iroha back to the Eternal Sakura. After all, Nemu planned it all along, which is why she asked Kuroe to help. Iroha is part of the plan, Still, it’s good to see a happy ending here with Iroha and Yachiyo reuniting in a very emotional scene. It’s good that Iroha kept her promise as she survived. I’m happy to see IroYachi remain strong. Also, it’s a good touch that Kuroe gave up her Magius gear.
I waited a long time for our favorite wives to reunite. It was worth the wait. So glad they’re together again.
Yep, it’s nice to see IroYachi to return. It took a year to get to this point, but that moment was glorious. Hopefully we’ll see the same with Madoka and Homura in an alternative universe.
That would be nice.
