As the festival approaches, Kanon and Keke needs to pull off a good performance to win first place. Of course, they still face some obstacles, one of them being Kanon’s crippling anxiety.
With only a few days left, it seems that despite all the training and practice, Kanon still has trouble singing in public. Yep, her crippling anxiety is still in play, and she is losing hope. As expected, Kanon was about to throw in the towel as Hazuki advises them to just give up. It’s obvious that Hazuki wants them to give up since she is against the idea of school idols.
As expected, Chisato isn’t giving up yet. She decides to deal with Kanon’s anxiety by having her work at the takoyaki truck. Sadly, it doesn’t work. Yep, she and Keke even had her try on a cute dress. Of course, Kanon wants her to delete the photos they just take. It’s obvious that this is not helping her overcome her anxieties.
Of course, while Kanon is about to give up, Keke is not. After all, Kanon was there for her, she wants to return the favor. She created a sign and hold some light sticks. I find it funny how she created a name of their temporary unit using Kanon’s and her own name. Kanon eventually saw the stage as they eventually part ways.
As expected, Keke and Chisato runs back sharing the news that Sunny Passion is going to perform at the festival. Believe it or not, Keke is a big fan of them, which is the reason she came to Japan. Believe it or not, her parents are very strict as she made Keke focus a lot on her studies. Still, it’s funny how she has a big picture of her favorite idol unit in her apartment and happy to perform with them.
Of course, they finally realized that they are screwed. Kanon and Keke doesn’t stand a chance against winning first place. This makes you wonder if Hazuki planned this all long or it’s just a coincidence. While Keke ask Chisato to join, but she doesn’t feel confident to do both. Then again, she might change her mind after watching their performance. Nevertheless, the pressure is on.
As for the performance, Kanon and Keke had stage flight. That is until Sumire accidentally tripped the cord and the stage equipment went off. When the audience took out the light sticks, they receive the confidence to do their performance.
As expected, they won an award, but not first place. Either way, the school idol club isn’t happening and Hazuki is probably happy that they weren’t successful. Then again, she might have a change of heart. We’ll see if she finally caves as Kanon and Keke find another way to make it happen. Yes, by getting two other members to join.
Good to see Kanon got over her anxiety to help Keke. KeKa hopefully lives. Still a chance for KeKaChi but we’ll see.
Sumire doing her tsundere predecessors proud. #Galaxy
Good thing that Kanon got over it. Sadly, it seems that it might be harder for them to create a school idol club with Hazuki getting what she wants in the end.
That is if Chisato or Sumire decides to join after watching Kanon’s and Keke’s performance. We’ll see soon enough.
