Blue Reflection Ray – Episode 11 – The Dark Side of Mio

June 18, 2021 by Chikorita157 5 Comments
It’s obvious what Uta and Niina is using Ruka for.

With one day left until Shino carries out her plan, she happens to kidnap Ruka. It becomes obvious why.

Indeed, Ruka unintentionally landed into Shino’s trap. As expected, Nina and Uta decides to use her as a bit to lure Hiori. Yep, from last time, Shino wants her fragment since it’s what she needs to open the Common. Of course, this plan gets thwarted when Hiori and Mio finds out. More on that later.

Miyako trying to find more answers.

As expected, Miyako finally learns more information on what the Red Team is doing. As expected, it looks very suspicious. Yep, Miyako invited Saiki Yuri to get answers since she is with the AASA. Of course, Miyako doesn’t get what is the “Common” and the time distortion until Yuri explains it. She eventually reveals that the Common is a world created by people’s collective unconscious. It supposed to contain all the consciousness and memories of everyone.

In other words, nobody should be interacting with it. Not only that, the crystalized versions in everyone’s feelings should only exist there, not outside. This makes it apparent that someone changed the laws of nature after someone won against Sephira. It’s only speeding up thanks to someone stealing the feelings to spread the distortion of space and time. It becomes obvious who is the mastermind. No, it’s not Mio, but Shino.

Yep, it’s an obvious trap.

Aside from that, we find out why Mio is doing this and hiding it from Hiori. She wants to protect everyone from those negative feelings. By using all the fragments, she wants to use the Common to control the feelings so that they can control everyone’s feelings. Now, they are at risk since interfering with the common can expose everyone’s feelings. Still, this makes me wonder how Hinako along with Lime and Yuzu interact with the Common if that is the case. Need to finish the game to find that out.

As expected, this starting to sound like Kitsugu’s ideals, if you watched Fate/Zero. What Mio wants to do is very similar, take as many fragments she can so she can save the world from negative feelings. Of course, she doesn’t realize the consequences of her actions, or what Shino believes is Mio’s worst deeds.

Hiori’s tricking the Red team to save Ruka is pretty clever.

While Hiori is about to give up her ring, she tricked them by activating its powers to save Ruka. Besides explaining Mio’s motives and fighting, she finally finds Hiori’s vulnerable. Still, it’s clear that Mio hesitates as she fights as her wavering feelings becomes more apparent. It becomes apparent when she aims for Hiori’s fragment after she becomes vulnerable. Instead, Momo protected Hiori and sacrificed herself. Mio brings out Momo’s fragment, which shattered.

As expected, Mio finds out the hard way regarding the consequences of her actions.
Mio finally goes into outrage mode.

Yep, Mio find out the hard way of the consequences of stealing other’s fragments. That is when Shino activates Mio’s outrage mode. Still, I wonder what will happen as we finally head to the climax. Will Shino’s plan fail or we head to another reset? What is the ultimate fate of Mio as her time is almost up? We’ll find out soon enough.

More HioRu and MioMo goodness but it happened during a critical moment of the season. Hopefully Momo will be okay. Poor Mio got screwed twice.

It’s kind of sad Momo made that sacrifice, but I have a feeling there be another groundhog day loop. Still, hopefully Hiori and Ruka manages to get Mio in control and possibly foil Shino.
