With Winter finally kicking in full gear with the snow, Koguma and Reiko decides to have some fun. Yes, riding in the snow.
December has finally come, and Winter finally begun. Sure, it seems risky to ride while it’s snowing. Thankfully, the school is on winter break when it snowed. Before that happen, Koguma saw Shii struggling to go up a hill. Of course, she persists as she goes shopping for some coffee beans. It’s obvious that she is walking hard to make her part of the café become a reality. At the same time, I guess Koguma and Reiko might be the thing that motivates Shii to ride her bike. More on that later.
As for what happened after the snow stopped becomes interesting. While Koguma couldn’t really ride ger bike while it’s snowing, she eventually prepared the meal. That is until Reiko calls her invitng her to come over, but Koguma doesn’t want to. That is until Reiko sent her a picture that changes her mind. I think it would be funny if Reiko sent a picture of herself wearing a swimsuit. Yes, it’s a missed opportunity as they didn’t have fun on a beach. I guess someone will make a meme out of this, oh wait…

As expected, Koguma had some trouble getting to Reiko’s house as she had a hard time riding her bike in the snow. Thankfully, the roads are mostly clear. Of course, it becomes obvious what Reiko called Koguma for Yes, she has snow tire chains to increase traction in the snow. She apparently bought them in an out of business sale. She intends to ride in the snow with Koguma in a special place.
You might be wondering what fun Reiko had in mind with those tire chains. Yep, riding their bike at a wide-open space at Mt. Kaikomna. Yep, they ride up and down hills having fun like snowmobiles. Sure, they fell off the bike quite a few times. At least Reiko wasn’t frustrated at all compared to her time during summer break. However, they aren’t that frustrated, nor their bikes get damaged since it’s snow after all. Still, it’s nice that they are having lots of fun. They eventually took off their coats as they continue to enjoy riding up and down the snowy hills.
Aside from riding their bikes in the snow, Koguma shared half of her lunch with Reiko. Yep, it’s an indirect kiss all right as Koguma drank some of Reiko’s drink. Also, it’s funny how Reiko wants to start a snowball fight with Koguma. Of course, Koguma in return kicks snow from her bike’s rear tire. Either way, it’s nice to see them have a lot of fun during a snow day.
After having fun in the snow, they visit Shii’s family bakery. Yep, they saw how Shii’s vision is finally coming together. Of course, Reiko says that she will let Shii ride with her up and down Mt. Kaikoma. Of course, she meant the back seat, which terrified poor Shii last time. Koguma makes a joke that Shii will fit in her front basket. I won’t be too surprised since Shii is smol.
Sometime past by and it began to snow again. After it snowed, it appears that Koguma bought some more outerwear and an actual face shield on her helmet. While riding to somewhere, she sees Shii taking a shortcut. Koguma and Reiko came to the café.
Of course, Shii’s father revealed that his daughter is riding the bike he gave her more thanks to Reiko and Koguma. It’s obvious that Shii aspires to become like them. However, it’s surprising that Shii is not there. I must admit that Shii’s absence gives me a bad omen.
After leaving the café, it seems that Koguma is heading home while Reiko goes shopping. Koguma receives a strange phone call from Shii. When she answers it, Shii calls for help? It appeared that she had an accident and fell into a river. Either way, we are in for a serious episode next time. Hopefully, Shii didn’t seriously injured herself.
