After Aizawa Azusa passed away in the real world from overwork at her job, she goes to heaven. Now, she gets to live the life she wants to, until the unexpected thing happened.
As expected, some businesses simply don’t care about the worker’s well-being. Aizawa Azusa of course like any millennial just want to get ahead and advance her career. Yep, she takes it a bit too far sacrificing her leisure, love life, and everything else in life for the paycheck. After a while, she couldn’t take it as she collapses and dies from overwork.
I find it funny how Azusa goes to the afterlife and faces a god to find out her fate plays out like any Isekaigenre story. This time, the goddess helps Azusa to create the ideal life she always wanted. Of course, she asks the goddess to make her immoral and ageless. As expected, it’s that easy as Azusa lives life as a 17-year-old girl and a witch too.
As expected, Azusa finds an abandoned house that is up to grabs. She eventually checks herself in the mirror and becomes amazed by her cute appearance. Believe it or not, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Yes, she was reborn and lives life as she wanted. Yes, she killed 25 slimes a day to create a steady income. She also helps the townspeople curing diseases and illnesses.
After 300 years of living a carefree life, Azusa goes to sell magical crystals. Yep, during that time, she accomplished a lot. As expected, Natalie asks Azusa to check her stats. Of course, it shows that Azusa maxed out her level while having high stats and abilities. Yep, defeating all those slimes add up, especially when her experience she earns receives a boost. Of course, she doesn’t believe it since she only kills slimes. I guess she doesn’t realize that the earned experience, while small adds up in the end.
Yep, Azusa feels that the life she dreams of might come to an end. With that, Azusa doesn’t want Natalie to share her stats. Of course, that is wishful thinking as she started having adventurers knock on her door. Yep, they really want to see how strong Azusa is. The funny thing is that her wind spell was too powerful against her opponents to withstand.
Not too surprisingly, Azusa is not happy and accused Natalie of leaking her secret. Of course, it was an adventurer that overheard her stats that leaked it to everyone. Maybe Azusa should check her surroundings to make sure nobody is there before revealing them.
To make matters worse, a dragon named Laika challenges her. As expected, Azusa tried to deny the rumors, but couldn’t. She also tried to let Laika have the title of being the strongest, but she refused. Azusa ends up challenging it as long it doesn’t ruin her house.
As expected, Azusa beats the dragon without any issues. She froze her mouth, which is a bad idea as the dragon damages her house from the pain. Because of this, Azusa gives the dragon a pulping and believe it or not, she has superhuman strength. I guess there is no denying her strength now. Even with this, her home is heavily damaged, thus she had to sleep at the inn. Of course, the people can’t stop talking about how she defeated the dragon.
When she woke up, a lady waited outside. Yep, it’s Laika with a bag of money to help Azusa repair her house. Yes, her human form looks cute. She also asks Azusa if she can become her pupil. Yep, Azusa basically pulled a Nanoha, who becomes friends with the girls she defeats. Then again, having Laika as her maid is not a bad idea. After all, Azusa won’t have to do chores and cooking, thus enhancing her lazy lifestyle.
In the end, Laika not only repaired Azusa’s original house, but also built a bigger one at Azusa’s pace of course. Of course, Azusa seems impressed. Things gets a bit intimate with Azusa and Laika after she says it looked amazing. I can only see where this is going from here.
300 years not 300 days. Azusa had been living relaxedly and killing slimes for 300 years.
I made a mistake and I didn’t seem to catch it while editing the post. Thanks for pointing it out.
I missed an opportunity to make a Miss Kobayashi reference. Oh well. Like with most isekai starring OP female leads I’m more interested in the relationships than the battles, such as Azusa X Laika’s.
Quite surprised you missed it, but oh well. Still, I am interesting how I guess Azusa’s female harem will grow with more “befriending.” I guess we’ll see soon enough.
