With winter mostly over and spring is finally in full swing, it’s time to focus on what shows I plan to cover pretty soon. As expected, this list is subject to change.
Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita
Studio: Revoroot
Air Date: April 10, 2021
It’s yet another anticipated isekai genre story that has a very familiar feeling of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. While the main character’s former life as a salary woman, the setup before entering the imaginary world is very familar. She becomes an immortal witch and spends time on an eternal vacation while killing slimes. While I haven’t the source material, the yuri potential is high.
Yakunara Mug Cup mo
Studio: Nippon Animation
Air Date April 3, 2021
As expected, it’s yet another schoolgirl anime focusing on pottery. I wonder what the girls plan to create. We’ll find out soon enough.
Super Cub
Studio: Nippon Animation
Air Date April 7, 2021
It has been a while since there is a schoolgirl anime about girls riding motorcycles. Yes, there is Yuru Camp, but that doesn’t really count since it’s just Rin riding a moped. Yes, I am talking about Bakuon, which was a fun show of girls riding motorcycles. Still, I am curious how this one will turn out.
Blue Reflection Ray
Studio: JC Staff
Air Date: April 9, 2021
Believe it or not, this is an anime sequel of the video game. Blue Reflection is a role-playing game by Gust, which is basically a magical girl-themed game with the main character defeating monsters called Sephira.
Believe it or not, I still have the game on the PlayStation Vita that I still haven’t finished. I will finish it someday, hopefully before the next game comes out. Still, I am surprised that they didn’t adapt Atelier Ryza instead since that game is more popular.
With that, this covers what I plan to watch. I also planning to watch Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san. However, I don’t plan to cover that show on this blog since it has a male lead. Feel free to share what shows you plan to watch in the comments.
Slime taoshite with the female salary woman sounds promising but I do wonder will you give nagatora or maou to shouldn’t a go? I also plan on seeing sentouin hakenshimasu seeing as the author of that series also done konasuba. Hopefully next season is decent although there is nothing on the leaps out on watching unlike the last one with attack of titan (good) and neverland (major disappointment).
Also nice spot with super cub; I liked bakuon so that series should be up my alley.
It depends on the future. I tend to focus on shows on a female protagonist. But yes, I haven’t seen the more popular isekai shows like Konosuba and Re:zero, but I will get to them eventually. I still haven’t completed the 2nd season of Danmachi let alone the third season.
Either way, hopefully the spring picks will be enjoyable.
As usual our watchlists are very similar so we’ll once again drop by each other’s pads this season.
Not too surprising, but I can’t watch too much because of limited time (plus, I haven’t even watched the first season of Zombieland Saga to watch the second season)
Super cub looks interesting
Yes, and I hope you will enjoy it once it airs.
