After dealing with creepy old ladies wanting to collect teeth, it seems that Toriko wants a BBQ dinner. Of course, Akari gets herself into more trouble after she becomes lost in a building.
It’s obvious that Sorawo seems creeped out by growing her hair out. This is not too surprising since Akari mentioned that Sorawo will look like Satsuki if she grew her hair long. The funny thing is when she washed up in the bathroom, she saw herself with long hair in the mirror after she took off her glasses. Honestly, even though Sorawo will look pretty with long hair, if she ends up looking like Satsuki, I think she will become creeped out by it. Best to keep the hair style like it is.
Either way, Sorawo finally made it to her destination with Toriko waiting outside. Yes, it appears that she invited Akari and Kozakura. Yep, Toriko exchanged numbers with Akari. This makes it obvious that she is dragging her into the Urasekai craziness.
Also, Sorawo mentions her desire to save the US military. As expected, they are still stuck in the Urasekai. This perplexes me since I would have thought that Toriko and Sorawo rescued them. I guess not with this mere mention along with Kisaragi Station. Of course, without that hat, it will be difficult to get back there. Still, there should be another way to rescue them if they are still there.
Shortly afterwards, they receive a phone call from Akari. Apparently, she became lost after going up in an elevator. Toriko and Sorawo becomes anxious as Akari sees Sorawo and follows her. Yep, there is a huge risk that she might enter the Urasekai. The funny thing did Akari managed to crack the elevator code to get there or it’s something else. I think it’s more of the latter.
As Toriko and Sorawo went to the elevator, Kozakura arrived. Yep, she doesn’t realize what she gets herself into as Toriko starts pushing elevator buttons with the sight of guns. I guess for Kozakura, going into the Urasekai once is already a horrifying experience. The thing is, they find themselves in-between worlds as they go into a maze. They even discover a mirror with a cloth on it. After Sorawo sees it and uses Toriko’s special hand to grab the cloth, the mirror eventually shatters.
I must admit that watching them search for Akari in the in-between worlds is creepy. Probably more so than the Pokémon Lost Silver creepypasta. They eventually find Akari who really thought the lady looks like Sorawo. When it starts walking to them, Sorawo sees something really frightening. They decide to make a break for it to the elevator. Yes, Kozakura thought she won’t make it alive since she couldn’t run fast, but they barely made it.
When Sorawo wakes up, the elevator door opens. She saw a burning world with a lady that looks like Satsuki. She uses Toriko’s special hand to get rid of it. That was enough to bring them back to reality and their destination. Just in time since they are hungry.
Of course, Torko notices that her glove is off and Sorawo reveals that she took it off to return to the real world. But it’s obvious that she cares about the people close to her. Surprisingly, Toriko thinks Kozakura is the most caring of all. Sure, she doesn’t show it, but it’s obvious.
As for Sorawo’s hair, it’s obvious that she will keep it like it is and not grow it out. I guess with Akari making that remark and seeing what looks like Satsuki in a hellscape, she doesn’t want to look like her.
Creepy stuff as always. Most excellent.
Sorawo still protective of her special spot.
So Satsuki is pretty much Persephone. Good to know.
Neat way to show Sorawo and Kozakura care about their friends deep down.
Yes, either way you look at it, the inbetween and Urasekai are creppy. Also, it’s quite obvious that Sorawo isn’t going to give up that special spot after all.
