After Sorawo and Toriko managed to escape the creepy and terrifying beach, Sorawo thought she was in the clear. Sadly, not so much since there are those cat memes and internet legends.
Sure, the last beach vacation episode was terrifying, but this one is a bit more lighthearted. One of Sorawo’s classmates, Seto Akari asks Sorawo for some help. Yes, apparently, she asks about Sorawo’s sixth sense. Sure, Sorawo denies it, but it’s obvious that it has to do with her eye.
Either way, Akari seems to have a strange problem. She is under attack by ninja cats. What, ninja cats you say? The ones that do the Naruto run, come up from behind and throw shuriken? Even Toriko finds this ridiculous and super cute. Of course, Kozakura thinks its weird.
Still, Sorawo knows about this legend or internet meme of cats attacking the person lately. The thing that Sorawo notes that she believes that Akari copied the legend. Of course, she gives her a letter, which makes this obvious that she will give in. However, I can understand why Sorawo is reluctant to take up Akari’s request. After all, she revealed the reason after Toriko wanted to help the girl out. Sorawo is a cat lover and doesn’t want to fight them because of this. Thankfully, Toriko reassured her that everything will be fine.
Of course, this brings us to Kozakura. She apparently has a pet tanuki, which is a raccoon to protect her. This is not too surprising given how terrified she was when she ended up in the Urasekai besides those scary ladies banging on her door.
Of course, Kozakura becomes upset when she finds out there is a delivery for her. Yes, it’s for some large Tobacco Farming machine that Toriko and Sorawo bought when they are drunk. Yep, I guess they kind of want to use this on the Urasekai. Of course, Kozakura blew up using her address for their own purposes. Still, I wonder, how exactly will they transport the machine there?
With that, Sorawo takes up on Akari’s offer and brought Toriko along. What’s funny is that Toriko mentions that Sorawo is a partner of crime. She is making it obvious that she has a thing for Toriko. Of course, Sorawo doesn’t know how to describe her relationship with Toriko. Still, I think it’s obvious. Yes, this is especially the case when she believes that Akari is another partner of crime and Sorawo didn’t like “don’t say that.”
After Akari shared her experiences with ninja cats, they realize the restaurant became empty. Two ninja cats appeared and attacked them. Sorawo, Toriko, and Akari went into the storage room that has a strange message on it. After the cats started to break through the door, they went out of the restaurant.
I find it funny that they find themselves in a cat-themed city. Sure, Sorawo really doesn’t want to attack the cats, but she eventually gives in and take out the guns. As expected, shooting, or fighting the ninja cats are ineffective. Even Sorawo tried to find a weakness in these cats, but they appeared as ordinary cats with no weakness.
Of course, when Toriko and Sorawo scrambles to find something that can lure the cats away, Sorawo saw something strange in Akari’s stomach. Sure, the idea of ninja cats is silly, but Akari acting strange is the only creepy part of the episode.
Only after Toriko retrieved the cat charm and Sorawo threw it, the ninja cats chased it and went away. The funny thing, this is the thing they are looking for as they didn’t return. Of course, a bunch of cute, ordinary cats come and transported the girls back to the real world.
In the end, it’s a mystery how Akari received the charm. Apparently, a lady gave it to her after helping her tutor for an entrance exam as a good luck charm. When Akari mentions the last name of the same person, that lady is obviously Satsuki. I can see why cats were after Akari since Satsuki found the charm in the Urasekai, of course. Still, I think this gives some clues the areas she went to.
Would be cool to see Akari again. She’ll most likely become a super friend like Kozakura.
Adachi, I mean Sorawo defending her turf, not allowing any other girl to enter her love nest with Toriko.
Best action scene yet and it was against Ninja Cats of all things.
The mystery of Satsuki grows.
Then again, does Akari want to risk dealing with monsters worse than ninja cats? Still, I am curious how she will act around Kozakura.
Yes, it’s obvious that Sorawo is falling for Toriko and that scene is pretty evident. It will be interesting how their relationship develop further in the next few episodes.
