Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear – Episode 9 – Yuna Opens a Junk Food Restaurant

December 2, 2020 by Chikorita157 3 Comments
Yuna spending the last few days at the capital before returning home.

It seems that Yuna is finally taking the suggestion of opening a restaurant. After coming to the bakery, she sees an opportunity.

Now that Yuna defeated the magician that is plotting revenge, she made some food for the King’s party. As expected, they really enjoyed Yuna’s junk food. Of course, several people, including Ellelora suggesting Yuna to open a shop. As expected, opening one up means that Yuna can no longer go on adventures since she would need to need to manage the restaurant or bakery. That means, no more adventures for Yuna.

Fina and Yuna takes a break.
It’s obvious that Karin doesn’t want to give up yet.

After shopping around for food to bring back, Yuna and Fina laid down on a hillside. Of course, their stomach started to rumble. Of course, when they arrive at their favorite bakery, the mother and daughter team, Morin and Karin are clearing the shop. Apparently, they couldn’t operate the business since they are drowning in debt. Not to mention, Morin’s husband collapsed from overwork and died.

I have to admit that this is kind of sad that they are facing a very unfortunate situation. Besides the loan sharking part, this kind of hits home with the whole pandemic hurting small businesses. Nevertheless, Karin doesn’t want to give up on the bakery dream yet.

Believe it or not, Yuna is not the only one that can make junk food.
Yes, Yuna is dragging Fina’s mother in yet another pet project.

Thankfully, Yuna provides them an opportunity to open a new shop elsewhere while providing the resources. They eventually accepted. It’s nice to see Mirein work with Yuna finding a suitable place to open a shop at. The place they choose is a vacant place that a noble family used to occupy. As you would expect, they don’t feel comfortable living in such a fancy place. However, this shows how much money Yuna have.

It’s obvious that they aren’t use to the noble lifestyle.
As expected, Mirein already prepared the uniforms.
Yes, Karin wore it too, even if she is embarrassed.

Either way, it seems that Morin and Karin can follow Yuna’s instructions to make the junk food. The only problem is that they don’t have enough workers. She enlists help from the orphanage to help with the cooking and serving. Of course, Mirein already decided on the uniforms based on Yuna’s bear outfit. The funny thing is that Yuna drags Fina’s mother in managing the restaurant operations.

Yes, Yuna is surprised by the number of customers coming in.
It’s nice that Fina and her little sister is helping out as well.
It’s obvious that Noa wants to wear the bear outfit too.

Yep, Karin finds it embarrassing, but the children seems to want to wear it. Still, I find Yuna’s reaction hilarious when she opens the shop doors and there was a crowd of people. Yep, I have a feeling that Mirein promoted the place to help Yuna out. Still, it’s nice to see some of Yuna’s friends out to make the place a success. Of course, Noa missed the opening day, but still wants to wear the bear uniform Fina was wearing.

They finally have some pudding after a hard day of work.

In the end, Cliff came to meet with Yuna. Yep, his dealing with the loan sharks and getting the deed is a bit late. Yes, it’s just like last time with Cliff solving the orphanage funding issues a bit too late.

I wonder what quest Yuna will take next.

In the end, it’s nice gesture despite Morin and Karin settling in at their new location. I guess they have already moved on at least for the better. After Yuna remembers what she accomplished so far, she decides to take on another quest.  Yes, she decides to go to sea, which makes me wonder what she intends to do. We must wait and see next time.

Adorable as usual. Love to see it, especially Fina stepping up to protect her spot as Yuna’s #1.

Good reason for Yuna to open a restaurant, help friends.

Cute Bear staff for days, yes.

It’s not too surprising, but of course Fina isn’t going Noa of course. Still, it’s good that she opened the resturant to create more jobs.
