Apparently, Shimamura feels that she lacks someone that she wants to get close to. During the summer, she finally meets someone on the second floor of the gym.
At the beginning of the episode, Adachi and Shimamura played ping pong while playing hooky from class. I find it funny how when class begins, they start to panic. As expected, Shimamura made a joke of jumping out of the second floor.
Even so, I find it funny how Adachi makes a remark she should drink milk to strengthen her bones after Shimamura made the joke. I must admit that it’s funny. After all, she probably remembered Shimamura asking her if she wanted milk. Still, it’s interesting that they remained undetected during class.
Aside from that, it seems that Shimamura was a normal student, until she found Adachi on the second floor of the gym. Believe it or not, Adachi prides herself as being a self-professed delinquent skipping classes. Shimamura finds out that being one can become fun.
When Shimamura first met her, she hits a cicada. She puts it on the tree and Adachi wondered how long it will live. It only lived for 15 days. It’s cute that Adachi noticed when it died after Shimamura had dirt on her hands. Still, I must admit that these bugs are disgusting.
When she passes Adachi on her way home, she doesn’t seem confident about getting close to her. She doesn’t know what happens when she gets very close. Of course, Adachi rode Shimamura to her place on a bike. So, I guess it will take some time until she gets closer to her.
We also learn about Shimamura’s friends as she browsed the magazines. Her friends, Hino who is just a normal girl. Also, there is Nagafuji who wear glasses, looks mature and well endowed. Of course, it’s obvious that Hino has a liking for Nagafuji for obvious reasons. Still, it’s obvious that Hino has a thing for Nagafuji.
Of course, Shimamura’s friends eventually finds out where Adachi and Shimamura spend their time during school. Since that day, Adachi doesn’t come to the usual spot. It’s obvious that Adachi is shy since Shimamura is her only friend.
Thankfully, she ran into her on her way back home after Adachi stopped while riding a bike. Shimamura thought that she won’t see her again. She is presently surprised after Adachi hands a bag of buns. She is happy that Shimamura isn’t going home with her friends.
Aside from that, the next episode should be interesting. In the preview, there is a scene where Adachi and Shimamura is about to kiss each other. Also, I wonder about that mysterious person in a space suit that shows up with a fishing rod while Hino and Shimamura goes fishing. We’ll find out eventually.
