It has been a while since the huge delay from Covid19, but it’s finally back. Hina apparently with Natsumi, Yuuki and Makoto goes to another town to browse the biggest fishing store in the area.
After catching that big flathead fish from last time, Hina realizes that she doesn’t have a hat. She borrowed one from Yukki. To make matters worse, she doesn’t have an outdoor jacket. This doesn’t come at a surprise since Hina spends most of her time at home. Yes, spending time wanting to do handicrafts. I guess Hina not having these won’t come at a big surprise.
I find it hilarious how Yuuki breaks out a really ugly jacket she wears for fishing. Sure, it’s more of function over form, this shows that Yuuki really has a bad taste when it comes to fashion. Yes, the jacket she wears looks ugly and Natsumi and Hina thinks so too. They don’t want to wear it when she offers it. This can explain why they don’t want others catch them wearing that jacket. Then again, Yuuki’s choice of jacket doesn’t come at a big surprise.
With that, they went to the fishing shop the next day. As expected, there a huge selection of fishing gear and outdoor apparel. I find it funny how Natsumi points her to the section that has men’s jackets. Of course, Hina becomes very disappointed after getting her expectations up too high. But yes, Natsumi is asking it, even after receiving what looks like a punishment from her casting mishaps in the last episode.
Thankfully, Makoto points her in the right direction. Hina tried on a good number of them. She also found a hat as well. Sadly, most of the jackets she tried on are expensive and she only have 10,000 yen to spend. This is not too surprising since they aren’t working and relying on an allowance. Also, it’s kind of sad to see Makoto being insecure after being unable to wear a jacket she found. Yes, it’s because of her height and not for obvious reasons you think.
Thankfully, she looks at the clearance section and she was able to find one that she likes. However, she can’t buy both. She settles on the jacket. The funny thing is that Natsumi bought something for Hina. Yuuki and Makoto genuinely believed that it is a present for Hina.
Believe it or not, Natsumi bought it so that Hina will stay in the club. Yes, that didn’t go over so well with Hina when Yuuki spilled the beans. Hina ends up bumping Natsumi on the head. It seems that she can’t get enough of deceiving poor Hina.
With the new apparel ready, Hina wears her new gear as she goes fishing for squid with Yuuki and Natsumi. Makoto didn’t show up until later. But they use a shrimp shape and colorful lure called an egi. They do the “eging” motion to lure and catch the squid. Sadly, it looks a lot harder than it seems and Natsumi and eventually Hina snapped her line.
Eventually, they saw one and they used this opportunity to catch it. Sadly, they haven’t much luck. Thankfully, Makoto catches it without effort. Thankfully, the squid didn’t do anything strange this time besides squirting Hina with ink. Hina handled it well this time, although her jacket got dirty. Thankfully, it’s water resistant and she only needs to pour water on it to clean it.
Also, Hina finally got to see the squid’s head turning transparent after Makoto kills it. Yep, it seems that she is becoming more interested in fishing than she was before. I guess Natsumi doesn’t really need to find a reason not to get her to leave. This would be for the best, especially after how many times she receives a hit on the head for trolling.
Glad to heave our favorite group of Fishing Girls back in action. They were dearly missed.
Nice seeing the origin of Hina’s cute fishing gear from the ED. Hopefully the gorgeous woman’s debut isn’t far off.
Yes, I am happy they are back, especially given how lonely and barren the Spring season was. Still, I have to admit that Hina is really adorable. But yes, I know what you are talking about, especially in regards to Makoto. 🙂
