Tamayomi – Episode 9 – Shin Koshigaya’s First Big Win

May 27, 2020 by chikorita157 2 Comments

Obviously, Nayayama has lost her cool and let Ibuki’s pitch annoy her.

Now that Nakayama lost her cool after Ibuki copied her pitch, it’s now Shin Koshigaya’s chance to win the game.

This is Nakayama’s way of getting back at Ibuki, although it’s not right.

As expected, Nakayama obviously lost her cool now that she starts messing up her pitches. From this, Ibuki batted three foul balls. Eventually, Nakayama messes up the pitch so badly that the ball accidentally hits Ibuki’s butt. Sure, Yoshino is now worried that she made Nakayama get back at her sister. Thankfully, Ibuki received a free run since it’s not good sportsmanship to pitch a ball at someone’s butt. Still, that got to hurt, a lot.

From this, it seems that Yoshino’s strategy is working. Nakayama is messing up her pitches so much that most of them are balls, thus giving a free run. In short, they managed to score 6 points. With two outs with the bases filled, Yomi has one job. Hit the ball and not have any of the field players catch it.

Yomi didn’t realize that she bought home a win just like that.

Thankfully, the outfielder failed to catch it, thus giving Shin Koshigaya a lot of points. However, Yomi stopped as she wonders why Ibuki is standing there. Yep, Shin Koshigaya basically curbed stomped the other team that they invoked the mercy rule. Now, there is really no chance of Kagemori catching up after Shin Koshigaya scored over 7 points in one inning.

As Ibuki and Yomi find out, a rematch against them won’t be easy.

In other words, they won the game just like that. At least Shin Koshigaya can have a sigh of relief now they made it past the first round. Still, it’s funny how Yomi and Ibuki are overhearing what Kagemori’s team is saying after the game. I guess Yomi and Ibuki has to work harder next time if they face them again. After all, they will come prepared next time.

It’s obvious that Yoshino is a bit worried, but thankfully, it’s not a big deal.

It’s obvious that Yoshino is worried about Ibuki after Nakayami threw a baseball at her butt. Thankfully, Ibuki reassures her and admits that she had fun pitching. Hopefully, this should relieve Yoshino’s fears that her strategy against Kagemori went too far. Now, she has to prepare the team to face Ryoyukan. As you would expect, their manager, Takahashi Yuuri and captain, Nakata Nao are taking Shin Koshigaya seriously.

As expected, Ryoyukan is not resting on their laurels at all.
I find it amusing how Ms. Fuji predicts Shin Koshigaya’s chances of winning through a video game. Also, on a Playstation Vita too!

As expected, they don’t have much data on Shin Koshigaya. Believe it or not, they have their eyes on Rei and Shiragiku as potential threats. But as Ms. Fuji found out from a video game, Shin Koshigaya only has 13% of winning against them. In other words, she is training the girls hard as Yoshino comes with a plan to give the team a fighting chance. Not only that, Yomi gets to pitch this time around. Still, this makes me wonder about Ms. Fuji’s past baseball career or whether or not she played professionally in college. It kind of looks like it with all that skill.

Ryoyukan’s coach looks awfully young for 45 years old.

On the day of the actual match, Ms. Fuji is curious about Ryoyukan’s advisor, Kurita. Sure, she says that she is 45, but she looks way younger. Kurita even tells Ms. Fuji to go easy on her team. I doubt she will make her wish to come true, but it shows what to come. It won’t be an easy match, but will they pull through? We’ll see next time.

Also, we cannot forget these moments with Yomi and Tama as well.

As expected, Yomi shows her strong feelings for Tama.

That block got to hurt.

Yomi craving Tama snuggles was wonderful.

A most excellent comeback by our heroines. Maybe now the opposing team will take their future games more seriously and not want to rush it.

My body was so ready for the big game with Ryoyukan.

Definitely. It’s quite obvious that Tama’s eyes are on Yomi no matter how much Kazumi wants Tama back.

But yes, it’s a nice comeback, but of course, the opposing team is now going to know their strategy if they face each other again. Still, chances of them facing them off are pretty slim.
