Now that Yomi’s team now has 7 members on her team, with a new advisor, they start training. However, she might have two more members possibly joining.
As expected, the girls are hard at work training. I find it funny that while Yoshino is watching, Ibuki receives the short end of the stick. In other words, lots of training. This is not too surprising since Yoshino encourages her to imitate baseball players. I guess this explains the skills she already have.
Meanwhile, it seems that a certain blond hair girl looking at the girls practice. Her name is Nozomi. She is with Shiragiku. It’s funny how Nozomi becomes disappointed that she joined the wrong school and Shiragiku ask if she is interested in the baseball club. It looked like Nozomi was going to go to the batting cage alone until Yomi came up to her. Yep, she is not letting her get away.
We find out a few things about Nozomi and Shiragiku. Nozomi is really good at batting thanks to her time batting at cages. She is also quite fit as well. It seems that she wanted to play with her friends in nationals when she was at Fukuoka. However, her parents moved due to their job and now she can’t meet her promise of going to nationals with them. It’s just like what would happen to Ao if she didn’t fight back. For Nozomi, it’s not necessarily the case. But still, she has hope if she joins this team.
As for Shiragiku, she became interested in baseball after reading all the manga about it and watching it on TV. Sadly, her mother insists her to master kendo first before she can play baseball. Thankfully, Shiragiku worked hard and made that happen.
While she had a good kit at first, it was just a fluke. She couldn’t hit the rest of the balls. Still, there is a nice moment when she wanted to taste the protein drink Nozomi drank. Yep, she ends up drinking all of it. Still, Shiragiku and Nozomi might be a pairing to keep a look at.
On the other hand, it seems that Tama is acting funny to Yomi. When we find out after taking to her in private, it seems that Tama doesn’t mind if Yomi played catch. She is afraid that if Yomi builds a team, the fun might go away since she will focus on winning instead.
Thankfully, Yomi reassures her that she wants to play with the people she loves by trying to win. Eventually, she understands what she is trying to say and thankfully, they made the promise. In other words, their bonds are now stronger. With the advisor arranging a practice game and revealing the new uniforms, there should be a lot to look forward to Yomi’s new team.

Nozomi and Shiragiku are wonderful final two additions to the team.
Tama and Yomi are one step closer to their destiny. Obviously I am not referring to their professional careers.
I guess with Nozomi and Shiragiku, I think Yomi’s team has a alot of potential. We’ll see soon enough and after all, it’s all about having fun, not just winning.
