Koisuru Asteroid – Episode 6 – The Lovely Astronomy and Geology Cafe

February 7, 2020 by Chikorita157 4 Comments

Mikake hard at work boring the ground.

At last, the cultural festival nears. With that, Ino and Mikake prepare for their boring exhibition. Meanwhile, Mari, Ao, and Mira prepares theirs.

Since the Earth Science’s club plans to do a café based on astronomy and geology, the girls need to come up with some good ideas to show at the cafe. With that, Mikake and Ino went ahead with their boring experiment. It’s quite creative how they created a boring machine. Yes, it’s kind of janky, but they used two ladders, a rope tied to a rock to give it momentum to hit the pole in the ground.

While this machine isn’t as fancy compared to what Elon Musk can come up with, but it works.
Sadly, Yuki kind of messed up their project.

Sure, it’s not as fancy compared to any of the boring machines that Elon Musk has from The Boring Company, but it does the job. Also, a bunch of baseball players helped out Mikake. It seems that she and Ino is having a lot of fun. They also helped pull the rod out. Sadly, Yuki kind of messed up trying to push out the end result. At least Eve took a picture of Mikake’s nice smile for her newspaper report.

Mari put a lot of detail into creating the moon. It’s obvious to see why.
Obviously, Mari’s career goals are inspired by her grandmother.
I find it funny and cute how Moe picks up Ao just like that.

Meanwhile, Mari, Ao, and Mira put their own models of the solar system. I have to admit that their models look pretty nice. Mari also shares why she wanted to become an astronaut. It’s because of her grandmother and her favorite planet being the moon. This can explain why Mari put so much detail on creating the moon model. Not only that, the moon was out and the girls decide to turn off the lights to see it. To make things better, Moe stopped by to give Mira and her friends some treats. She also carries Ao, which of course causes Mari to take a lot of pictures of them.

The Earth Science’s Club prepare to open their cafe.
I can see why Moe becomes excited when she sees Misa.

As for the festival, the Earth Sciences Club dressed up in cute maid outfits. Moe helps them out. It’s obvious since she has a motive. She wants to win the best food reward and Misa is apparently the judge. Too bad, Moe can’t just bribe her to win the ward.

Apparently, Mikake’s little sister tagged a long along with Ao’s mother. I find it funny how Ao becomes embarrassed when her mother sees her in a maid’s outfit. Not only that, she had a little trouble greeting the customers. While, she has the same voice as Takimoto Hifumi, at least Ao’s shyness isn’t as bad.

Ino’s reaction when she becomes the club’s president.

In the end, the café was a success. With that, Mikake and Mari decides to resign the position as club’s vice president and president respectively. They give Ino the club president’s role. Of course, Ino doesn’t know how to react to this news. I guess we will find out in two weeks as the next episode is delayed.

Ino and Sakura were adorable in their construction gear. Glad Sakura learned to be more confident in promoting geology.

    Suzu is still best girl.

Nice to see the moms again.

I look forward to more Chikage. The other girl remains to be seen.

Yes, definitely! It’s good to see Mikake smile and find something that she enjoys.

Still, it will be interesting to see some new faces in the future.
