At last, Rokka decides to join RAISE A SUILEN. However, she has to prove herself as a guitarist before ChuChu recognizes her as a true member. Does Rokka has everything it takes to prove her abilities?
While Rokka is a temporary guitarist for RAISE A SUILEN, she still has to wake up early. As expected, ChuChu calls her over. Not only Paero sized Rokka for her outfit, Rokka also receives a new guitar. Yes, ChuChu prepared a special guitar for her as well. I suppose that she doesn’t want Rokka to use her own guitar.
With that, Rokka start practicing her music on the guitar that ChuChu gave her. I find it funny how she sees the results and proceeds to vote for Poppin’ Party. Sadly, she forgot to vote on the day of the performance. Opps! Even so, it seems that Poppin’ Party has their work cut out for them if they want to make it to the Budokan. Thankfully, Rokka applogizes to them even if she doesn’t have to.
That night, Rokka finally received her stage outfit. Apparently, Paero manages to make a few modifications. It seems that the outfit for Tae now fits on Rokka. This is nice timing since they are about to record the promotional video for a new song. At least it’s nice to see the behind the scenes. Of course, I find it funny how Rokka shoots the glass in the video using her finger.
When she actually does it the second time, the glass shatters and she freak out. I find this reaction quite hilarious. Not only that, they had a nice lunch as well. Rokka finds out that ChuChu’s parents work in the music industry. Not only that, her family is filthy rich. That can explain why they can afford the lunch that looks like a feast.
The next day, they ChuChu starts the recording. However, something is off with Rokka’s playing. After two attempts, they gave up. Rei eventually talked to Rokka to figure out what is going on with her.
Masuki eventually takes her to a ramen shop that the manager is a guitarist. She eventually shared her experiences before ChuChu recruited her. Apparently, she was in a similar position before she joined. That is until she finds out that ChuChu has a genuine passion for music. This is not too surprising since her parents are in that industry too!
In the end, after Rokka manages to sort things out, she asks for a second try. As they say, the third attempt was good enough for use in the promotional video. I guess Rokka finally overcame her anxieties to give the performance ChuChu expects. Either way, ChuChu finally gave the good news that Rokka passed the test. Not only that, she decides to use Rokka’s nickname as “Lock,” which ironically everyone is already using. At least Rokka doesn’t feel left out anymore.
