With the girls helping out with the inn more than earning enough gold to leave the inn, they need to do something. They decide to do the impossible. Yes, it’s hunting a Wyvern.
For a while now, Crimson Vow haven’t been doing that many quests or rather, helping out with the inn instead. Now that Lenny is profiting from their work in the inn, this starts to bother them. As would anyone will do, they start looking for quests that pay enough so they can leave.
In other words, they decided to go with the Wyvern hunting quest. The guild told the girls not to do it since many failed to do the quest. It’s mostly because the hunters couldn’t defeat it. Not only that, it would run away after it saw the hunter’s face the second time. No wonder everyone failed, but can Crimson Vow make it happen?
Mile jumps into the action as she uses a tied up cow as bait. When the Wyvern appeared, it threw a log at them. Mile tried hurling Reina at it so she can use her magic. Sadly, she went way too far that Mile had to use magic to give her a soft landing. Of course, Reina became angry that her clothes are soaked with soap. Next, she hurled Mavis. It looked as if it worked, but instead she hurts herself and Mile had to give her a soft landing too. It’s funny how Reina punishes Mile for being reckless.
Lastly. Mile give Pauline a short, but she became too dizzy to do anything after she hurled her. Of course, the Wyvern fell with it. When they tried to do a finishing blow, it uses wind to upshirt the girls. When Mavis tried to attack it, it uses a spell that destroys most of her clothes. Eventually, Mile decided to use a Nano tube net and tried to finish it off. An old man stops them.
Apparently, he gave a back story of him raising a young and injured Wyvern thinking it’s a lizard. When he found out that it’s not and his parents want him to get rid of the creature. He had to part with it as a teenager. While the story is touching, apparently the old man seems happy to reunite with it. With that, the girls decided not to slay it. Of course, the villagers don’t seem happy, but thankfully the old man paid them off.
In the end, while the girls didn’t hunt the Wyvern, they still got a reward since the old man was a royal mage. With that, the girls can finally leave inn for a better one. Lenny seems sad that she doesn’t have any help while losing business. When Pauline reveal the actual reason, they decided to build a Japanese style bath. As expected, Mile still says it’s a family secret. From this excuse, I suppose the girls are becoming really suspicious.
An episode with plenty of chuckle worthy moments.
Mavis X Pauline is getting more traction. They’re best girls so OG approves.
Yes, it’s also funny how the little boy raised a monster that the girls were going to hunt. I heard this story before.
But yes, Mavis and Pauline might be a good pairing.
