After Enterprise foiled Sakura’s Empire’s plan to snatch the cube back from the maids, the Eagle Union and Royal Navy takes a breather.
From last time, Laffey shares her desire to become friends with Ayanami. Sadly, it didn’t quite work out. Ayami eventually refuses and escapes. It’s obvious that Ayami and Laffey feels down by this. Hopefully someday, they will become friends with Ayanami, even if they have to beat the crap out of her to do it. Yes, the same way as Nanoha did with Fate. After all, they haven’t given up on achieving that just yet.
Aside from that, it seems that Enterprise is finally mellowing out. Instead of resorting to eating protein bars in her bedroom, she ate at the cafeteria. Of course, Nevada piled a lot of food on her plate. This kind of gave everyone the wrong idea that Enterprise eats that much food. It seems that others noticed that Enterprise changed. Also, she also meets Cleveland’s sisters, Columbia, Montpelier and Denver as well.
Aside from the breakfast, Prince of Wales and Illustrious sees the secret weapon that Akagi was attempting to use. Sadly, Orobochi controls the siren ships and nobody knows what the cube does. Not even Akashi knows about it either. With that, the girls wonder if the Sirens are deceiving the Sakura Empire.
Either way, the cube is still surrounded with mystery. It becomes obvious when Enterprise touches it. She sees an ominous vision of someone sinister on the other side of the reflection. I wonder who is that said girl Still she doesn’t tell what she saw. I wonder what did she actually see. We’ll find out probably later on.
Despite this, Enterprise observes the shops with Belfast and realize that the boat girls are acting like humans. Yep, Belfast is referencing the conversation she had about this earlier. At night, Enterprise also realizes how pretty the ocean is and drinks coffee with Belfast.
Aside from that, there are some lighthearted moments. We finally see the tinier Sakura Empire’s boats, Fumizuki, Mutsuki, Minazuki, Mikazuki, and Uzuki. Apparently, they are running to somewhere. Uzuki tried to catch up to her. She eventually trips and falls trying to catch up with her friends. Kaga’s angry expression kind of scared her. Thankfully, the girls apologize to her by offering her candy and Akagi took up on the offer. Still, I have to admit that they are adorable.
The second half, it seems that Unicorn feels insecure when she took a bath with the other girls. Despite being well endowed, she has a height complex. Even so, Laffey thinks that there is nothing wrong with how Unicorn looks. She thinks that Unicorn has a good body. Thankfully, she gets over it.
Lastly, we also see Prinz Eugen trying to make a move on Kaga. Of course, this bothers her, especially when Prinz Eugen points out the one-sided love. Still, I wonder what Akagi is scheming this time now that she doesn’t have the cube. We have to wait and see next time.
Highlight of the episode was Unicorn’s “big” surprise. Very cool development, yes indeed.
Was annoyed by this being a blatant “Blu-Ray Bait” episode but not upset. I can patiently wait for the uncensored episode in the future. It will be glorious for sure.
I hope Kaga will be alright.
Unicorn joins the other smol boats on their mission to eventually give Ayanami a big hug. Best of luck to them.
It’s nice to learn more about Unicorrn. Thankfully she got over her height complex thanks to her friends.
Apparently, it seems that the studio has some production problems. Besides the quality issues, the 7th episode seems to have been delayed by a week. I wonder if it’s because of weather related issues or staff being overworked.
Eventually, they will fullfil her mission, even if they have to beat the crap out of Ayanami to do so.
