Azur Lane – Episode 7 – Akagi’s Botched Plan

November 21, 2019 by Chikorita157 3 Comments

Queen Elizabeth is ready for anything.

After a break, Azur Lane continues their confrontation with the Sakura Empire. This makes me wonder, what is Akagi up to?

As expected, the action in this episode happen in the second half. The beginning of the episode gave a glimpse of what the battle would be like. Apparently, Sakura Empire summon some siren ships before they face off against Azur Lane. It’s quite obvious that Zuikaku wanted to face off Enterprise, but she didn’t get that chance. After all, Kaga wanted to face her off.

It seems that Kaga got Enterprise at the right time.

During the action-packed battle, Enterprise and Kaga faced off each other riding on air planes. While Belfast wanted to help out, Akagi found her and decides to attack her. Akagi’s attack on Belfast distracts Enterprise. This gives the opportunity for Kaga shot her down.

Enterprise sees some horrific visions of the past.

While Enterprise is in the ocean, she drops the dark cube. After seeing her visions from her older sister, Yorktown, she sees the same vision when she touched the cube. Eventually, Dark Enterprise awakens in her body. She takes down Kaga. Akagi faces off Enterprise and uses her most powerful attack. Sadly, Enterprise takes her down before she can land a hit. In other words, Enterprise defeats Akagi too.

As always, Kaga underestimated Enterprise, leading to her downfall.
Akagi tried to defeat Enterprise, but fails too.
Enterprise regains her consciousness and is in horror on what she just did.

Thankfully, Enterprise took control of her body. She realizes that she is afraid of the ocean. This makes me wonder about her dark past as well. Also, I wonder about the Siren who seems excited about Dark Enterprise reawakened. I guess we’ll find out more about her dark past in the near future.

It seems that this is not the heaven Akagi bargained for.

On the other hand, it seems that Akagi thought she would unite with her older sister, Amagi. Sadly, it’s not what she bargained for and it felt more like hell than heaven. After all, Akagi and Kaga kind of made the deal with the devil by using Siren technology, so it’s bound to happen.

Things getting mighty serious up in here. Hopefully there won’t be too many casualties.

Hopefully, but we will never know. Still, I kind of see this happening since Akagi and Kaga were playing with Siren technology.
