Now that Tsubasa’s team managed to defeat Kogetsu High in a practice game, the official tournament arrives. The thing is, which team Tsubasa and her friends will face in the first round.
At last, the girls finally head to their destination for the tournament. For the stay over, I find it funny that the they will face a team that they played against previously. Suddenly a bus pulls up and the captain of the Seijo High’s girls baseball team, Jinguji comes off the bus. It’s obvious to see her reaction. As expected, this can become a good opportunity for Tsubasa’s team to have a rematch and show how much they improved.
The funny thing is that they have to eat together as there is only one grill in the pit. It’s obvious that Junguji avoided talking to Tomoe during dinner. However, one of the girls from their team came up to Tomoe. That girl is Makino, who happens to be the catcher for Junguji’s team. She is curious how she got her team’s captain coach Tomoe. I guess it’s probably the first time she heard from someone that did this. It’s quite amazing how Tomoe admits that she asked her to do it.
Either way, both Tsubasa and Junguji is determined to win. I guess this can be seen as a battle between the ideals. Either way, the first inning seems to bring some difficulties for Junguji’s team. It’s obvious that Junguji doesn’t believe friends and sports doesn’t mix. Tsubasa on the other hand believes the opposite. Tsubasa managed to score a point. Junguji seems to admit that Tsubasa’s team improved since the practice game.
While the first two innings look bad, Junguji’s team managed to tie with Tsubasa’s. It seems that Tsubasa’s team members kind of messed up a bit. It’s obvious that Junguji doesn’t want to lose early or without a fight. The thing is, does Tsubasa’s team have what it got to defeat Seijo or they will lose again like the practice game.
While it won’t be easy, but I hope they will pull a win in this “rematch.” If they lose the same way like the practice game, it would be very embarrassing. Moreover, it will demoralize the students from Satogahama High who came to cheer them on. I doubt Tsubasa’s team will lose the second time. Still, it won’t be easy by any means.
