Hitoribocchi no Marumaruseikatsu – Episode 3 – Bocchi Invites Her Friends For the First Time

April 19, 2019 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
It seems that Teruyo is scared of Nako, one of her students.

At last, Bocchi finally made another friend from last time. With that, she finally takes the next step. Yes, inviting Aru and Nako to her house.

I find it funny how Nako scares a girl. When she helps a girl who tripped, they became scared thinking that Nako is a delinquent. I guess her usual expressions and blond hair doesn’t help with that perception.

Still, I have to feel sympathetic towards Nako since she also manages to scare her homeroom teacher, Oshie Teruyo. Instead of Nako addressing her casually, which annoys Teruyo, she addresses her formally. Instead, Teruyo becomes scared of her. Even when Bocchi was absent, she feared having to hand the homework to Nako so she can deliver it. She almost considered resigning, which is hilarious. Still, it’s kind of sad that Teruyo doesn’t know that Nako is actually a kind person despite her appearances.

Sadly, Bocchi asks Ako at the worst possible time.
Bocchi is happy that she received a yes from Ako.

After making friends with Ako, Bocchi wants to ask if she wants to walk home together with Nako. I find it funny how Bocchi tries to ask Ako, but she gets sidetracked by other students. Poor Bocchi, but thankfully Ako accepted. The funny thing is that Nako teases Ako with the candy as she only has two. Even after giving her one, a black bird takes it away. This doesn’t help when Nako calls Ako unfortunate, causing them to get into an argument.

As expected, Ako and Nako don’t get along with each other.

While the saying “if they are fighting, they are getting along well” holds true, Bocchi seems worried. Thankfully, they reassured her that they are getting along. We know that this is probably a lie or that Ako is acting like a tsundere towards Nako. After all, she said “It’s not as if I’m saying your kind or anything” after admitting it to Nako.

Bocchi has a strange taste in fashion.
Nako looks good with glasses on.

Still, I find it funny how Bocchi dresses up in an animal outfit when Nako comes over to visit. Sadly, Ako didn’t come due to tennis practice. Still, Bocchi has a strange sense of fashion. Of course, Nako shows up in casual clothing while wearing glasses. I find it funny how Bocchi doesn’t realize the glasses until Nako points it out. Of course, they are fake.

Sadly, Bocchi is a bit clumsy.

As for Bocchi’s hosting, well, she is clumsy. I find it funny how she breaks all the cups except two. Not only that, she accidentally spills tea after refilling it. It doesn’t help that she wears an animal outfit while serving stuff. I guess Nako really needs to take her clothes shopping so that Bocchi will have suitable clothing when she goes out.

I feel that Teruyo is scared of Nako from her appearences.
At last, Nako and Aru come to visit Bocchi while delivering the homework.

Sadly, from this, Bocchi comes down with a cold. I kind of felt sorry for her since she became lonely and thought she would lose her friends. Thankfully, Nako and Ako came over to hand over homework. At least this reassures Bocchi that they are still friends. After all, things are not as exciting without Bocchi around. With that, hopefully Bocchi now understands that her friends won’t leave her simply because she is sick or anything. Everyone gets sick once in a while.

It’s not so surprising given how precious Bocchi is. Still, I can’t wait to see the other girls who will become her friends next.
