As Poppin’ Party pushes ahead with their own sponsored event, Kasumi is still hung-ho with the idea of flying during their performance. Kokoro might have an idea that may work.
From last time, Kasumi and her friends realize that they aren’t going to match Roselia’s greatness. This doesn’t mean they should give up on their self-sponsored event. Even so, it seems that Kasumi still wants to do the flying idea. Obviously, Arisa will go against that idea. However, it seems that there is someone who can help her with that. Kokoro overheard Kasumi and her friends’ planning and eventually, she saw Kasumi’s sketchbook.
With that, she eventually drags Misaki along with possibly planning a show for Poppin’ Party to make them smile. The funny thing is that they are really going to do the flying thing, but to a whole new level. Still, it’s surprising that Kokoro still doesn’t know that Michelle is Misaki.
From Kaoru’s interaction with other girls and referring them as her little kittens show that she has same charm from a prince. Still, I never knew that Kaoru has a strong fear of heights. This makes me wonder how she will survive this show her band will perform.
Somehow, Kokoro manages to pull off the flying thing. After Kaoru sent out invitations in a stealthily manner, Kasumi and her friends show up at their destination. As you would expect, it’s a cruise ship. This gives everyone the impression that Kokoro is crazy rich since she is able to perform there. During the performance, Kaoru kidnaps Rimi while wearing phantom thief attire, flying and disappearing with stage effects. In other words, Hello Happy World can make anything possible.
Of course, they eventually take it to another level with the flying idea. If Kokoro said she can make anything possible, she will. She accomplishes this by riding a Michelle-shaped hot air balloon with her band. The funny thing is that Kaoru’s fear for heights causes her to become unable to perform. Somehow, Kanon manages to calm her nerves.
Still, I find it hilarious when Kokoro’s servants put something on Michelle’s back. She thought that she didn’t have to fly. Of course, things get crazier when Kokoro jumped off without a parachute. In short, Michelle jumped off as Misaki tries to figure out the flight controls. I find it funny how Misaki had trouble entering what looks like the Konami code to engage the flight controls. After Kokoro told her to smile, Misaki manages to engage the controls.
At the end of the day, while Hello Happy World’s showing is exciting, it felt less of a band performance and more of a show. Even so, it’s quite amazing how Misaki and Kaoruko survived this ordeal despite passing out in the end. Still, I have my doubts that Kasumi can pull off something like this since it would be expensive. From the looks of the next episode, Pastel Palettes will finally get the spotlight. Maybe Kasumi can get some inspiration from them about their self-sponsored event.
