Now that summer is coming to an end, it’s time to take a look at some of the shows I plan to watch this fall.
Yagate Kimi ni Naru
Studio: TROYCA
Air Date: October 2018
It’s yet another anticipated yuri romance show for the Fall season. Indeed, 2018 is shaping up to be the year of yuri with Citrus, Kase-san and now Yagate Kimi ni Naru. While this show isn’t as drama heavy compared to Citrus, this one should be enjoyable.
Anima Yell!
Studio: Doga Kobo
Air Date: October 07, 2018
For this season’s Manga Time Kirara adaptation, the focus is on cheerleading. This focuses on a girl named, Hatoya Kohane who is a first-year high school student becomes interested in cheerleading and decides to join.
Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san
Studio: AXsiZ/Studio Gokumi
Air Date: October 05, 2018
Given the synopsis, it’s obvious that this show will have some yuri potential. A vampire girl named Sophie Twilight rescues Amano Akari from a strange incident. Apparently, Akari becomes interested in her shortly afterwards. It is obvious what this means, right? We have to wait to find out.
Site Updates
For the time being, nothing has changed with my situation, which is obviously been rough for the past few years. I am still hopeful that things will turn around eventually.
If you noticed, I started a forum focused primarily on yuri two months ago. Last month, I have decided to set up a Mastodon instance. Yes, Twitter have been a mixed bag lately with their questionable choices of crippling third-party clients. However, I realized that a vast majority doesn’t know or use Mastodon. It’s basically a twitter alternative without going in full detail. You can learn more about it here.
Either way, you can follow us on Mastodon here. For the time being, it’s only syndicating my tweets from my Twitter account, but it may change in the future. You are free to join the instance as well, which is focused primarily on, well yuri and such, although you may discuss other things as well.
With that, what shows are you planning to watch this fall?
As usual we have similar shows on our schedules so we’ll continue visiting each other to talk about them. Let’s keep it up dood.
Hopefully, the upcoming shows will live up to the potential.
