After the photo shoot from last time, it was a huge success. With that, the girls receive another photo shoot. This time is the day of life of Ongaku Shoujo.
As expected, thanks to Shupe’s help, the photo shoot was a success and people seems to like it. While the girls wake up, Hanako prepares breakfast. After preparing breakfast, Hanako looked at the recipe book and Miku notices it’s the Dolce one. It’s funny how the creator of that book is Uori herself. Believe it or not, they are recipes that are made specifically to fit Ongaku Shoujo’s needs.
This time, the photo shoot focuses on the life of Ongaku Shoujo even though it doesn’t seem like it. Given that Uori and Kiri doesn’t live in the dorms, they have to pretend. This not surprising since they are sisters after all. Still, the funny thing is that the photographers want the girls to make artificial idol smiles instead of being themselves. There is no wonder the girls seem exhausted afterwards. To me, I felt that the photos they took are artificial since the girls aren’t allowed to be themselves.
With the girls exhausted and hungry, Uori wants to make something. Of course, the director of the photoshoot wants them to wait until the next photo shoot. The next photoshoot will have the girls making smoothies with idol smiles of course.
Thankfully, that didn’t happen since Hanako begs the photo shoot director to allow Uori to make something. Eventually, he changes his mind. Probably, Uori appreciate Hanako’s effort to change his mind for the best of the group.
After Uori, Hanako and Kiri made the preparations, they managed to finish the meals on time. The girls seem excited after they saw it and started eating. The photographers realize that the smiles are better than the first photo shoot as they take the pictures. This doesn’t come at a surprise since it captures the genuine image of Ongaku Shoujo.
At the end of the day, Kiri decides to stay over in Hanako’s room despite Uori being reluctant to do so. During that time, we learn more about Kiri’s experiences when she was in a unit with her sister. Kiri tells Hanako that her health isn’t the greatest and Uori usually covered for her. In a way, this shows how much Uori cares about her sister as she wants to see her succeed. Sure, Kiri puts herself down saying that Uori is better off giving up so her sister can advance as a performer. Thankfully, Hanako convinced her otherwise.
Of course, Uori still worries about her sister and couldn’t sleep. With that, I think I finally figured out who is Chorigana is. Yes, Uori is apparently Hanako’s online friend that she made in the second episode. While there are some hints in the last episode, this made it more obvious.
This makes me wonder if Uori really does have a thing for Hanako. After all, she was reluctant to having Kiri stay over in Hanako’s room. After taking Hanako’s suggestion from that night’s conversation, she made breakfast for the girls the next morning, I think the pairing is plausible since she really wants to get closer to Hanako, although she will deny it.
And so the cracks began to form inside Uori’s happy jar.
It’s not so surprising since Kiri doesn’t want to hold her younger sister back. I guess Uori helping her gives some purpose, which is slowly going away.
