From last time, Matsuri confronts Mei during the night. It’s obvious that she is up to no good again.
I have to admit, it’s hilarious to see Yuzu mess up while trying to bake a cake. When her mother came to see a table of failed cakes, her reaction is priceless. Thankfully, Yuzu was able to finish the Christmas cake on time and it looks good.

Meanwhile, Matsuri is up to her tricks again. I have to admit that I do not like her given what she did in the past few episodes. This time, she lends Mei her work phone. Afterwards, she threatens Mei with blackmail with a certain photo. Yes, the photo where Mei kissed Matsuri.
It’s apparent that Matsuri wants to derail the relationship between Mei and Yuzu so she can have Yuzu to herself. In short, Mei won’t be going to the Christmas party, which she originally decided on going. Instead, Mei tells Yuzu to see Matsuri tomorrow. The answer is, will Matsuri get her way?

The next day when Yuzu prepares to leave school, Harumi hits her with her bag. Apparently, she is not happy that Yuzu left her behind. Also, Harumi wonders why Yuzu is upset and it’s obvious. With that, Yuzu decides to help Mei, until Matsuri came. She drags Yuzu on a forced date. Of course, Mei is not even at the school after all, but on a train to meet someone.

It’s obvious that Matsuri tells Mei to do compensated dating. Either way, Matsuri’s date with Yuzu doesn’t go so well. Matsuri eventually becomes annoyed that Yuzu keep bringing up Mei’s name. Eventually, Yuzu eventually snaps after realizing Matsuri’s intentions. She tells her off by saying that relationships aren’t a game. Afterwards, she looks for Mei. Thankfully, nothing happened to Mei as she appeared in front of her. With that, Yuzu hugged Mei while crying. With that, Matsuri saw her own defeat.

After all the manipulation, Matsuri couldn’t get her way. With that, Mei came out victorious. It’s obvious that Matsuri is upset. Thankfully, Mei say that she can relate to Matsuri since she always seeks for love. However, she hated people around her, thus she closed her heart and refused to accept anything. Before she realized it, she became empty. Obviously, Yuzu is the only one that allowed her to break out of this. Either way, it seems that after all the trouble Matsuri caused, she finally accepts the relationship between Yuzu and Mei.

With one more barrier down, Mei and Yuzu went back home and enjoy their slice of Christmas cake. With Mei vowing to become more open, hopefully nobody will get hurt like what happened this time. Mei eventually have Yuzu feel her heart. It’s obviously racing. This can mean only one thing, right? Mei really loves Yuzu. The next episode will finally show the fruits from their relationship.
