Konohana Kitan – Episode 3 – Ren’s Love Struck and Jealousy

October 18, 2017 by chikorita157 4 Comments

Natsumi think’s it’s funny to see a bucket of water fall on Ookami’s head. She is not happy.

Ren seems to have feelings for Natsume yet she doesn’t want to work with her because of her clumsiness. It’s obvious where this is going.

I have to admit that it’s funny to see Natsume mess up. While she brought back the water with Ren, Natsume touches her. Of course, she accidentally throws the bucket of water, which lans on Ookami. Natsume thinks it’s funny, but of course Ookami is not happy at all. Still, I have to admit that it’s silly to see Natsume mess up this badly.

Kiri is not convinced that Ren should be partners with Satsuki.

Despite Ren’s feelings for Natsume, she had enough of Natsume’s clumsiness. She asks Kiri to change her partner with Satsuki. Of course, she wants to work with someone reliable. Then again, it won’t help her since Ren is already capable. When Kiri suggests pairing Ren up with Yuzu, Ren decides to stay with Natsumi. It’s not surprising given Yuzu is naïve and clumsy.

This is how Natsume and Ren met each other.

You might be wondering, if Ren is so desperate to change her partner, is she in bad terms with Natsume? Well, given that she is a tsundere, it’s hard for her to reveal her true feelings. However, we learn that Natsume met her in a flashback. Natsume help clean Ren after seeing her being dirty from getting bullied. This can explain why Ren cares so much about her appearance. Still, I have to admit that it’s funny letting her feelings about Natsumi out in Sakura’s hiding place.

Natsumi calms Ren down with a hug.

During service, while Ren waits, one of the perverted men groped her butt. Of course, sexual assault is wrong and thankfully, Ren beats the crap out of him Also, Natsumi stand up for her by grabbing the man’s collar and questioning him. In the end, Ookami ends up kicking the guy out of the inn. Thankfully, he received the punishment he deserves. While Yuzu and Natsumi cheered the crowd, Natsumi eventually hugs Ren to confort her. Either way, it’s a nice moment between the two.

When it comes to Ren’s crush, she goes full tsundere on Yuzu.

It’s a trap! Aoi is not a girl after all and Ren finds out the hard way.

In the second half, Natsumi has a day off and wants to see Sumo wrestling. While a grandparent couple came, a girl is impressed by Natsumi taking down a wrestler. That supposed girl is Aoi. When Natsumi shows Aoi around, Ren becomes uneasy. Yuzu eventually notices and listen to Ren being jealous of Natsumi going out with Aoi. She asked something about her feelings for Natsume. Yuzu states that she would not get angry at someone if they did something wrong. While Ren eventually beats up Yuzu like any tsundere would, she decides to apologize to Natsumi for being rude.

Natsumi gives Ren a special kiss.

After coming back to the inn, she notices that Natsume is back. After coming to her room, she sees a naked body. She pushes Aoi and notices that Aoi is actually a boy. Aoi’s appearance and voice definitely can throw anyone off since he looks like a girl. Thankfully, Natsumi cleared things up and even got Ren a gift. Either way, it seems that Natsumi and Ren is closer now. ¶

This show has so far delivered in more ways than we could have imagined. So much open fluffy yuri goodness. So much cuteness. So much WIN!

Ren X Natsume character archetypes are nothing new but their relationship is so special it doesn’t matter at all. Ren’s fury attack, Natsume defending her, Ren falling in love at first sight, the way they both made up in the 2nd half and Natsume subtly showing she most likely feels the same way about Ren. I couldn’t stop squeeing!

I agree that for the most part, the show delivers in terms of yuri. But yes, the second half was glorious.

This episode is very adorable it blooms with cuteness and fluffyness though some of the scene has been expected these love story is common something like save by hero and the one saved by hero falls in love. Though I still like the cuteness of this anime it gives a new level from those common love stories.

I agree. It’s not surprising given how cute some of the girls are. Still, iit’s nice to see Natsume protect Ren and Ren showing her feelings for her, even if she denies it like any tsundere would. Still, the yuri exceeds expectations so far.
