Now that the newcomers finished their first day, the girls decide to throw a welcome party. However, they have trouble deciding where to go.
To give the new interns a warm welcome, Aoba, Hajime and Yun plans to throw a welcome party. The girls can’t decide on what restaurant to pick. Hazuki eventually comes and suggests the girls throw a party at a maid café. It’s obvious where things are going, right? Yes, she has the girls experience how it’s like to work at a maid café by dressing them up as maids.
I have to admit that seeing Aoba, Yun and Hajime dressed in maid outfits while acting like one is cute. Aoba takes a role as a cat girl while Yun is a tsundere. Aoba even does the thing that makes the tea taste delicious. Of course, Hazuki wants her to say that embarrassing line. Yes, Aoba does the “Moe Moe~Kyun” thing. That brings me back a lot of memories with K-ON when Ritsu suggested dressing Mio up in a maid outfit.
Of course, Hifumi’s reaction is priceless when she shows Momo the café. It seems as if she doesn’t want anything to do with Hazuki’s antics. However, Momo joins in on the maid fun. I have to admit that she makes a perfect maid. Suddenly, Umiko came and covered Hazuki’s eyes before proceeding to drag her away. It’s obvious that she is not having it. Too bad we didn’t get to see Momo do the “Moe Moe~Kyun” thing with Aoba.
In the end, Kou decided on having the party at a Hamburg steak restaurant. During the party, Umiko reveals that Nene worked last summer for the company to Narumi. As for the other table, it seems that Momo have trouble remembering names. It’s not surprising since some people in real life aren’t good at remembering names. Eventually, she will remember them. It will take some time.
It’s obvious the girls want Momo to loosen up. Of course, this eventually led to how Hifumi casually address Rin and Kou. Also, Yun compliments Momo’s figure although she worries about her own. Thankfully, Momo is kind that she compliments Yun for her cute appearance.
In the second half, Momo would rather eat alone. Maybe it’s because of the big rice ball that she brings in for lunch. She later reveals that she simply doesn’t have enough money to eat out given her expenses. It’s not surprising since she actually shares an apartment with Narumi. I have been there but fter a year, she will start making the big bucks.
Either way, it seems that Momo will start working on 3D models soon. It looks like she is getting used to working in the office. While walking with Aoba, Momo sees Aoba as a senior member despite being the same age. She reveals that she is top of her class. Aoba already notices this about Momo’s skills. With that, Aoba says that she won’t lose to Momo in a positive tone. Of course, this throws off Momo. This makes me wonder how she will fare against Aoba? Given that Aoba created character designs for the main character, Momo has a lot of catching up to do.
Fans of maids had a field day this episode.
That nod to the legend was a welcome surprise. Was told by someone that Yoko Hikasa voices both the legend and a certain someone who loves sleeping in panties.
Momo so far seems to be a fetish character. Sure she has a good character but otherwise she’s there to make certain fans squeal. Narumi’s nice.
Aoba being cool with lesbian relationships was welcome. As some of my peeps said she’s never had any resentment towards yuri.
Hifumi’s glare was exhilarating.
It’s obvious that the voice actress for Kou is the same as the one for Mio. Still, it’s surprising to see Moe Moe Kyun to show up in this episode.
It’s not so surprising since Momo looks cute and has a figure similar to Hifumi maybe. But it’s obvious that Hifiumi is worried about her not because of her skills… Maybe because Momo will take Aoba away from her. I don’t see that happening yet since she is Aoba’s rival so far.
