Now that Hifumi becomes the team leader, how will she handle the team? Also, Aoba’s old friend returns from studying overseas.
It seems that Hifumi has a lot of work cut out for her now that she is the team leader. After Kou gives her a checklist, she checks on her team members on their assignments. It seems that Aoba is able to get an extension. On the other hand, Yun forgot.

I guess Yun got too used to getting away with it, but now she can’t do that. There is a possibility that she can make Hifumi cry if she goes past the deadline. Sadly, Yun is unable to ask for extension and tried to work through the night. Sadly, her mother needs her to come home so she can make breakfast in the morning.
In other words, she tries finishing the work early in the morning while asking for more time. Hifumi lets it go and even helps her out knowing that she will be late.

Yun feels guilty that she asks Hifumi to punish her. She uses her alternative personality to ask for an apology from Yun for lying. That is until Aoba walks in and Hifumi becomes embarrassed. It’s bound to happen, but I have to admit that seeing their reaction is funny.

In the second half, Hajime needs help coming up with ideas for characters use in the water levels. Thankfully, Yun and Aoba doesn’t mind helping her. With Yun’s expertise, she gives various ideas. It’s not surprising since she knows everything about animals given her experience designing them. Hajime eventually settles on a fish character that allows the main character to move fast in water. Of course, the player’s character can’t attack. Thankfully, Hazuki seems to like the idea.
As for Aoba, it seems that she is struggling with the queen’s character design. She asks for ideas from Kou, Rin and Hazuki. Eventually, she settles on designing a young sick queen that wants to become a friend with the main character. The plushies will keep her company, but it’s not enough.

Aoba eventually comes up with a good design after working on it for several days. However, Kou managed to figure out a good design relatively quickly. I guess Aoba still have a long way to go until she reaches Kou’s greatness.

After she comes back from the desk, she receives a text message from her old friend, Hotaru. It’s funny how Rin sees a picture of Hotaru kissing Aoba on the cheeks. As expected, Aoba is super embarrassed when Rin saw the picture and explains that it’s a way of greeting people. It’s not like they are in love or something.

Of course, things get crazier as Aoba, Hotaro and Nene spends time in a bath. Aside from Hotaru kisses on the cheeks, Aoba plays with Hotarou and then Nene. I guess Aoba touching Nene is too much for Hotarou that she faints. I guess those who support shipping Aoba and Nene will find this entertaining.
After that, they spend time reflecting on their paths while having some ice cream. I wonder what she plans on doing now that she completed her studies. We’ll see.
Hifumi shined brightly once more and showed us some new moves we never saw coming.
Hotaru’s gonna fit it just fine. hopefully she’ll bless our monitors many more times.
The discussions were very interesting, both about character design and a bit of life choices.
I am glad that Hifumi is making progress of getting used to interacting with others. I guess it’s a good idea for her to become a leader for that. The question is, I wonder how well she will handle the pressure now that she is one with the added responsibilities.
Yes, I can’t wait to see more of Hotaru and I wonder what role she will play.
We shall see her progress along with game’s development. I’m sure she’ll be alright.
Oh yes indeed.
Judging from the opening, there does seems to be new characters joining the cast in Eagle Jump. Strangely enough Hotaru’s not in it although she seems to be a good fit. Interesting nonetheless to see what’s her role in the anime.
If I recall, they did mention some new characters joining the cast. Hotarou is actually from a spinoff manga, so we won’t know where she will end up. But still, I can’t wait to see what role she will play.
