Yet again, I am late with the summer preview, but that will be coming soon. With that, it’s time to focus on the first show I plan to watch this season, Hina Logi.
Princess Liones Yelistratpva or Lion hitchhiked so she can arrive at the Priari Academy. Her dream is to become a Logicalist. While Yaoi, Karin, Karen and Mahiro went searching for her in anticipation, Nina found her first. As expected, Lion is dirty from traveling and being under her luggage. Also, Belle, Lion’s pet is dirty too.
Thankfully, Nina provided Lion and Belle some food and allow them to clean up before class. You think that Lion will respect Nina more since she received help from her, but there are other reasons. Lion actually idolizes her after seeing her on TV protecting the world.
From hearing this reason, this definitely feels like Hidan no Aria AA since Akari idolizes Aria. While Nina doesn’t plan on staying at the school forever, it’s obvious that Lion still wants to be friends with her. This can explain why Lion ran away from home just to become one against her dad’s wishes. Still, it’s surprising that her mom let her do it secretly.
As for the blank card, it happens to be a foreign card. She is afraid that she won’t be able to make a contract with someone. It’s because she won’t be in the same class as Nina. After she shows the card and Bell tries to run away from Mahiro, Lion manages to make a contract. She becomes able to trance.
In short, she becomes too excited that she gratuitously uses her grass magic. Lion probably freaked out a lot of students with the vines growing everywhere. Thankfully, Nina used her powers to stop Lion from playing around with her new powers. Still, I wonder who is the true identity of the spirit she makes a contract with.
In the end, the girls take a bath together after a long first day. It’s funny how Lion manages to push Nina into the water by accident and caught a fish. Either way, just like Akari, Lion has hidden potential. Will she be able to control her new powers? We’ll find out soon enough.
