Now that the spring anime has started, I am going to share my Spring 2017 picks. Sure, I have shared first impressions for the first two shows, but I may as well do it anyway.
As always, this list is subject to change.
Sakura Quest
Studio: PA Works
Air Date: April 6, 2017
I have to admit that it has been a long time since I have watched anything from PA Works. This time, it focuses on a heroine who takes a job as a queen for a travel agency in the town that used to prosper during the bubble. As you would expect, this is a work sit-com type of story that feels similar to Shirobako and Hanasaku Iroha. Either way, I am interesting how the story will play out.
Hinako Note
Studio: Passione
Air Date: April 7, 2017
It’s another girls’ club slice of life anime, focusing on a shy girl named Hinako. She moves to Tokyo to attend a school to get over her nervousness and join a theater club. She stays at a book and café shop where Kuina, Mayuki and Chiaki is residing. I have to admit that this show has similarities to previous slice of life shows with a mostly female cast. This should be an enjoyable watch.
Aside from these two shows, I am covering the remaining episodes of Bang Dream.
Spring Plans
While there is no news on the job front due to the temporary hiring freeze (which is expected to end soon), there is not much I can say about the future yet. I will share some kind of announcement if I have to move. Even so, I know that I have a potential of getting at least one job offer once it’s over.
If you like reading my content, I encourage you to support us through Patreon. Some perks are contributing possible ideas for posts and asking me any questions (as long they are appropriate). You can also support us by not using adblock and white listing this website. This will help me to continue what I am doing and help fund future projects for this blog. Also, commenting on posts is appreciated since it has been lacking somewhat lately.
As for other plans, I have finally got my copy of Blue Reflection this week and I plan on streaming some of it on Twitch. I do upload gameplay there and streaming some of Atelier Firis over there, which I plan on sharing first impressions soon. If you want to check out some of the games I am playing, feel free and follow for updates.
With that, what shows do you plan to watch for the spring? Feel free to share.
Other than a bunch of second seasons, still not sure what I want to watch. Sakura Quest and Hinako Note are pretty much the shows I’m considering. Just watched the first episode of Hinako Note and I think that pretty much sealed the deal. Still on the fence with Sakura Quest however.
