Hinako, a country girl finally arrived to Tokyo. Will she be able be able to find her destination?
Hinako finally arrives in Toyko to attend high school there to improve her social skills. Sadly, she got lost trying to find the place she will be staying while attending school. When an officer comes to help her, she freezes up from her nervousness and become a scarecrow. This is one of the reasons why she is hired to become one before moving. Despite her practicing her communication skills, she still has a long way to go. As expected, I highly doubt she wants to be a scarecrow for rest of her life.
Eventually, she arrives at Hitotose, a used book shop where she will be staying. I have to admit, it’s funny how Kuina, a person who loves books eats pages from it. Surely, book lovers will cringe at the fact that she is eating pages from a book. I guess she doesn’t have to worry much about not getting enough fiber.
After Kuina shows Hanako to her room, she sees a girl dressed in a maid’s outfit. Her name is Mayuki, a 2nd year student. She works at the shop too, but at the café section. She is there cleaning the room. I have to admit that she looks pretty. This is not surprising since Kuina asks if Mayuki wants to be a princess. I admit that she will look cute as one, although she thinks it’s childish. Hinako eventually mentions of having Mayuki playing the role as a princess in theater.
The girls eventually have lunch. From there, Kuina asks why Hinako decided to attend their high school. Aside from overcoming her nervousness, Hinako picked this high school because there is a theater club. It’s because she was moved by one of the theater performances from a field trip. Kuina tells her that the club shut down last year, which of course made Hinako sad.
Eventually, Kuina and Mayuki showed Hinako around. I have to admit, it’s funny how Mayuki plays as a role of an older sister to buy taiyaki. Sadly, she has a hard time reaching the window. At least the shop owner gave her a discount given how cute Mayuki is.
Eventually, they saw someone practicing a play. it’s Chiaki, who is the landlady of Hitotose. It’s not surprising how Hinako finds Chiaki as a beautiful girl and she is into theater too. Hinako eventually finds out that the club’s advisor is on a theater trip. This explains why the club is on hiatus.
Thankfully Chiaki gives Hinako hope. She suggests to make her own with Hinako being the leader. As expected, Chiaki will drag Mayuki and Kuina into it so they have four members. Will Hinako be able to do it? We’ll see.
Aside from that, I have to admit the first episode it was enjoyable and cute. With that, I can’t wait to see the next episode.
Yeah this show’s pretty cute. Was it the same guy who did GochiUsa’s characters? Could have sworn they look similar.
The answer is no, it’s completely unrelated as the creator of this series is made my Mitsuki, although it does have some similarities to Gochuumon, it’s not published in Manga Time Kara, unless I am wrong. But yes, the show is cute.
This show is going to be awesome without a doubt.
