Kanna can’t wait for the Sports Festival. Will Kobayashi make it?
At last, Kanna can’t wait for the Sports Festival after hearing about it in class and Riko telling her about the activities. The part that Kanna gets excited about is parents coming to watch along with eating lunch with them. With that, she wants Kobayashi to come and see her.
As expected, it seems that Kobayashi is busy and say that she can’t do it. She asks Tohru to attend. Understandably, Kanna gets upset and disappointed. She simply wanted Kobayashi to support Kanna during the Sports Festival. Will Kobayashi finish her work in time so she can attend the festival?
From the looks of it, it seems that Kobayashi changes her mind as she worked overtime to finish an important project. Kanna eventually sees how hard Kobayashi works. Even if she is okay with Kobayashi not attending, Kobayashi manage to complete it. In other words, she is able to attend. Still, it’s funny Kobayashi said that she is not that old yet. This is not surprising since the parents of these children are probably in their late thirties or early forties. Either way, Kanna seems happy that Kobayashi is able to attend.
With that, the big day has come. Let’s focus on the funny moments. As expected, Kanna and Riko failed the three-legged race for obvious reasons. However, their class did well in the jump rope and relay race events. While it’s easy to feel sorry for Riko accidentally tripping, Kanna made a comeback and won. I have to admit the relay race is the most epic part of this episode.
Aside from Kanna, there are funny moments. As always, Lucoa manages to help Shouta to win some events thanks to her attractive appearances. Also, it’s funny to see Elma having trouble deciding which thing to buy. Either way, there is no doubt that Riko and Kanna is more than just best friends now after the Sports Festival.
Glad to see Riko’s long period of reflecting paid off. Her relationship with Kanna will be just fine.
Tohru and Miss Kobayashi’s relationship continues developing in a slow and sweet way. Love it!
This was the first time Lucoa and the shota named Shouta’s chemistry was tolerable.
I feel for Elma. So many choices, so little time.
At this point, Riko and Kanna should be cannon… but it’s nice that she is getting even closer.
But yes, it’s funny to see Lucoa help Shouta out instead of trying to seduce him. Maybe she realized that what she is doing is not working.
