It seems that a masked girl tries to trick Chiya to pay for divination. Will someone save her?
Somehow, Chiya managed to get herself in town trying to get back to Natsume-ya. A young masked girl comes up to her to take advantage of Chiya. It’s funny how people are that despite to take advantage of others who need help. Believe it or not, the masked girl is one of those girls forcing a divination on Chiya for money. Can Chiya get out of this sticky situation?
Thankfully, a beautiful and mysterious woman comes to rescue Chiya. Her name is Tokie. Currently, she is a 2nd rank Urara. She drives away the masked girl after scolding her.
With that, we see some cute moments with Chiya and Tokie. Tokie buys a proper kimono for Chiya to wear. It’s obvious that Chiya doesn’t like wearing formal kimono wear. Afterwards, Tokei goes to get food. Of course, many shop keepers offer free food to Chiya after seeing how cute she is in a kimono. With that, maybe Chiya changed her mind about kimonos. To me, I think she looks cute in it.
After a while, Tokie offers to perform a reading for Chiya. It’s surprising how she manages to get the exact description of Chiya’s friends right. When she tries to look for the thing Chiya is looking for, the glass ball broke. I guess it can’t be that easy to find the answer, but Chiya sees a familiar creature. Still, it makes Chiya think that Tokie is her mother, but sadly she isn’t.
When they arrive at Natsume-ya, Tokie reveals that she is Kon’s mother. This is not surprising since their appearances are similar. She come to meet Nina because there is a calamity that will fall on Nono. As expected, Nina becomes shocked and faints.
In other words, the girls scrambled to find something to stop the calamity that will affect Nono. They eventually searched for barberry bush that Chiya mentioned but couldn’t find it. Nono becomes upset. As a result, she wants to give up when Chiya gets injured. The girls reassure her that they won’t give up and will find a solution to stop the calamity. Then, time ran out.
In the end, the girls are relieved that the calamity isn’t true. Tokie reveals that she came to help Nina with giving an exam so the girls can advance to the 9th rank. While it’s preliminary, the girls are excited that they pass the exam. Their techniques and power of friendship allowed them to pass it. With that, will they past the actual test and advance to the next rank? We’ll see next time. ¶
