Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon – Episode 7 – Fun at the Beach

February 22, 2017 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
Lucoa is not having much luck seducing Shouta.

Kobayashi finally takes Tohru and Kanna to the beach. As you guessed, it’s a beach episode!

At last, Kobayashi takes Tohru and Kanna to the beach while Lucoa and Shouta tags along. It’s funny how Shouta gets super embarrassed when he sees Lucoa’s huge breasts. It’s quite obvious that she is trying to seduce Shota and she thinks her swimsuit will work in that regard. While a life guard drags her away because of the swimsuit, Lucoa and Tohru has nice figures. Also, Kanna as always looks cute as always.

Tohru gives them a ride.

Still, this can explain why Kobayashi doesn’t like going to the beach because of her flat chest. Either way, it seems that Kobayashi eventually have fun on the beach. Tohru changed to her dragon from and take them out at sea to go fishing. Either way, it seems that they have fun.

Aside from that, when Kobayashi mentions her beach experiences, it reminds Tohru of something. She apparently went to the beach as a child with her parents. She also mentions that she lived independently after graduating college and getting a job. This is something that the younger generation doesn’t experience nowadays due to fewer job opportunities. Still, there are signs that Tohru is becoming independent. This is not surprising since she got used to interacting with humans. As they say, becoming independent allows one to live their lives their own way by making their own decisions.

Tohru gives the wrong impression to people that she is cosplaying.

As for the Summer Comiket segment, it’s as you would expect. Tohru helps out Kobayashi at her booth run by her friend. It’s funny how people think that Kobayashi is cosplaying despite being an actual maid. It gets worse when she reveals her tail and wings as it attracts a lot of photographers. Still, it’s funny to see non-humans attend the event as well.

Kanna is eating the bugs instead of catching them.

Aside from that, it seems that Mr. Fifnir is not having much luck with his first attempt. I guess there is not that much demand for people to buy book containing curses. Still, he is becoming familiar with humans. As for Lucoa, a female event helper drags her away again from wearing a revealing outfit. Lastly, Kanna does her homework assignment involving bugs while Tohru and Kobayashi is at Comiket. It’s funny how she eats them instead of catching them. With that, the next episode should be fun since there is a new dragon coming.

Disappointed about Lucoa’s character arc revolving around her trying to seduce Shouta. At least she’s gorgeous.

Kanna continues being a walking nuclear bomb of cuteness.

Tohru and Miss Kobayashi are made for each other.

It’s bound to happen, but she does look hot. But yes, at this point, Tohru and Kobayashi is canon.

This was a really fun and refreshing episode. I know I’m not the only who said this, but anime could be the cutest thing ever in this season. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint the viewers until the end. Anyway, thumbs up for a great review. 😀
