It seems that the girls are having trouble studying for an exam involving incantations. Will they past the incantation exam?
To advance their studies as Urara, Nina plans on administering an exam that involves incantations. The girls are struggling since it requires memorization and all the incantations use classical language. I have been there since I studied for exams during college. Thankfully, there is many strategies one can take to make memorization easier like mnemonics.
With that, the girls came up with their own way to memorize them. Most notably, Nono sang the incantation. She used it during the exam and passed along with Kon. However, Chiya and Koume failed the exams. While they have another chance, I guess they should learn from them to pass the exams. Even so, it seems that Nina is sad that her little sister is growing up. At least she has Saku to keep her company.
In the second half, Koume shared her memories with Marie. With Koume wearing a witch’s hat, she wanted to become a witch. During her childhood, it’s because of Marie coming over her house to teach. She had a lot of fun with Marie and want to convince her parents that witches are real. While taking Marie’s broomstick and trying to fly is dangerous, thankfully she didn’t get injured.
Sadly, Marie is asked to leave several months later because of rumors. Although good things have to come to an end, thankfully Koume took it well. It’s mainly because Marie gives her a coat, hat and broom. Koume still wears that coat and hat and have the broom. In a way, Marie done this to convince Koume not to become a witch. Still, Koume’s interaction with Marie inspired her to become an Urara. Hopefully someday, she will meet Marie after becoming a top Urara.
so Koume is bit tsundere
Koume may possibly end up dating a sexy French witch in the future. You never know.
Nono working hard to overcome her shyness is delightful to watch.
Miss Nina X Captain Saku might as well be canon.
I won’t be surprised either, but if it actually happens, Koume will definitely be happy, especially after finishing her training.
Aside from that, it’s good that Nono is overcoming her shy personality.
