Kasumi can’t wait for her first day of being a high school student. However, she doesn’t know what club to join.
I have to admit that the first episode felt very familiar to a certain idol anime, it is. After watching the first episode, the show feels like a mix of K-ON and Love Live. It’s somewhat evident with the introductions and the girls’ personalities, especially Kasumi.
Kasumi is a cheerful girl who can’t wait to start high school. She is so excited that she tries to wake up her older sister, Aa which doesn’t have to attend the ceremony. She even went out of the house without eating breakfast, which is funny. Thankfully, she meets Yamabuki Saya who offers her a piece of candy. Surprisingly enough, she also works at a bakery. There is no wonder why Saya smells like bread.
Aside from that, the way Kasumi introduces herself to the class is expected given her personality. While her classmates laughed at her, she kept her spirit high, especially when she looked for which club to join. It seems that she is having a hard time. This is not surprising since she believes that all the clubs are fun. Then again, Kasumi might already decide her fate as she followed the trail of gold star stickers.
From the looks of it, the pawn shop in Ichigaya Arisa’s house provides Kasumi the answer. Believe it or not, Arisa is top of her class, which explains why she is at her garden instead. The funny thing is that she catches her going into that room. Still, the guitar sitting in a corner that caught Kasumi’s eyes. Arisa eventually takes her to a live house. This is when Katsumi decides on what she wants to do.
From the looks of Saya taking Kasumi to the live house means one thing. Yes, Kasumi is going to create a band of her own. From the looks of it, Saya and perhaps Arisa might join next time. Either way, it makes me wonder how she will accomplish this. We’ll see next time.
Dug the shows premiere. It definitely has promise and I eagerly anticipate seeing how the other girls will join Kasumi and see what challenges they’ll face afterward.
I can’t wait either, and of course look forward to the songs they will make.
